Peter King's 1st round predictions

One of my favorite guys at 25. KB, Agholor, Brown would be a top 5 WR group in the league.

C'mon man...

Jets (Marshall, Decker), Colts (Hilton, Johnson, Moncrief), Broncos (Thomas, Sanders), Packers (Nelson, Adams, Cobb), Lions (CJ, Tate), Giants (Cruz, OBJ), Falcons (Julio, White, Hester), Bucs (VJax, Evans), Cardinals (Fitz, Floyd, Brown), 49ers (Boldin, Smith)

Philly is a solid 4, need to see more before we call him a solid 3. Agholor is a unknown but I do like him. Benjamin is solid and would benefit greatly from having a true #2. But to say this group is top 5 before seeing Agholor in the NFL is stretching it.

Third in the NFC South :/

Would be better than Marshall/Decker, Jackson/Evans, Fitz/Floyd, and Boldin/Smith. That's how good Agholor is. Top 5 was a stretch but if KB and Philly take the expected leap forward (which I expect them to) and we get Agholor our WR group would be among the best.

And there's the reason I stated in the other thread.  Good God did he overrate the fug out of Philly Brown.

Name 5 better.

Green Bay Packers (Jordy Nelson, Randall Cobb)

Detroit Lions (Calvin Johnson, Golden Tate)

Indianapolis Colts (TY Hilton, Andre Johnson)

Denver (Emmanuel Sanders, Demariyus Thomas)

New York Giants (Odell Beckham, Ruben Randle)

Arizona Cardinals (Michael Floyd, Larry Fitzgerald)

Tampa Bay (Mike Evans, Vincent Jackson)

Atlanta Falcons (Julio Jones, Roddy White)

Washington Redskins (Desean Jackson, Pierre Garcon)

There's a ton of teams with way better WR corps than Carolina even if they draft Agholor...He'll be a rookie so who knows how he'll pan out.  Kelvin Benjamin isn't even as good as the #2 receiver on some of these teams.  He will be one day but hold your horses.

Edit: pointless to take #3 WR's into consideration as a lot of these teams don't even know who that will be yet.

It was clearly an exaggeration and the point was mainly how high I am on Agholor. Honestly think he could have a similar impact to Odell Beckham. Give me flack for that, but if we had Beckham, KB and Brown would that not be top 5?

Man you gotta take off the homer glasses!!  I don't personally think Agholor is worth a first round pick.  If he's there when the Panthers pick in the 2nd you have to jump on him though.

    • You must be one of these "one move away guys."
    • ESPN has a whole is just hot takes and the dumbest takes possible. That is why it sucks so badly. They intentionally drag everything down to a lightspeed retarded level so that it is unwatchable. No jounalism, no nuance, no in depth analysis....just idiot after idiot blabbering/shouting about some hot button issue that they really have no real strong opinions about until the camera is rolling.
    • Young is the overwhelming priority. We have ample time on them and it's far easier to pivot at WR than QB. Remember that 2026 is year 4 for Bryce. That is 5th year option decision time and also the prime time to attempt to regain resources if a pivot is made. The odds of gaining any assets in a trade afterwards plumment very rapidly(all this depending on performance, obviously). At the end of that cycle, now we are likely in a $45+ million territory for him to remain.  So that decision trumps all others by a mile when it comes to personnel.
