Shout out to Josh Norman

Last night at the Huddle Draft Party Josh Norman stopped by. He didn't just stop by for a quick hello, he stopped by and really just hung out with Panthers fans. He was more than approachable and was happy to take pictures or talk football with whoever wanted to.

If Josh Norman isn't on your short list of favorite Panthers players, he should be. It just does not get any more fan friendly than that.

Josh was awesome. He definitely just hung out and was happy to talk to everyone. On my short list for sure.

Edit: the whole time he was laughing and talking, I just kept thinking to myself how this guy has a totally different personality on the field. I would like to see how he gets pumped up for games.

Seems like a very good guy. He's responded to tweets of mine and never lets haters get to him. Also it's good to see people come around to him. I know a lot of guys were u see the impression he sucked while he was in Rons dog house, pretty sure I was included in that group, but man did he prove us wrong. Great young cb with a chip on his shoulder attitude. Also I love watching the vine of his Browns int

He listens to the gladiator soundtrack. Not kidding.

Also, he has that switch that gets flipped. The Josh Norman you spoke to last night is not the same guy in the locker room.

I was the biggest Josh Norman hater for a long time, but I met him recently and I have nothing but good things to say about him off the field.

    • I don’t know about floor in a team defense sense but we needed more.  The floor that I am familiar with is our QBs floor and it is so low that every other part of the team needs to be beefed up.     We tried our best to improve these things and I think we did improve the defense and we at least kept the offense  from sinking from no LT.  And ostensibly helped the receivers too.   So we kept a window open that we at least have a chance to improve our record by a game of two.  Which would probably give us the division.

    • Yeah. I am one of. those who think a JAG RB can eat with really good blocking. (Brooks is most important in my mind, in tbe passing game and that is what we’ll lose without him)  There are a lot of aspects to this. The big one that caused us to struggle is Young and his arm scared no one.  Best back, best blocking still cannot defeat a really good defense if they are not forced to respect the pass.  And teams did not.    But, a strong OL and running game Can get us over against weaker defenses.  And if Bryce still doesn’t scare anyone we can still win some games. Like last year  So it is really important to tend to that OL.   Get that straight and see if in his fourth year he can finally back defenses off. That is what if is all about this year to me, on the Bryce front.
