Only thing I did not like was giving up the 3rd. But, if Gett and Rivera think he is worth it, I trust them on it.

Both. He's saying that he talked to a lot of other professional teams who aren't high on Shaq Thompson or the pick, and that a lot of reliable scouts he talked to didn't like Funchess pre-draft.

Is basically just saying that a lot of other teams think we're having a pretty poor draft.

I'm not super happy about trading our 3rd, but I'm excited about Funchess. Cam could throw for 40 TDs this year...

He is way more likely to get sacked 40 times than to throw 40 TD passes. Our OL is still putrid and both of our main divisional rivals just added pass rushers this draft.
