Game Changers - Wide Receivers ( Devin Funchess )

Recommended Posts

Glad to see that everyone else is seeing what I said about him 2 months ago.  I am stoked about this pick. When we got Shaq in the first I thought we lost him so when we traded back up to get him I was very happy.  Just like they said that Benjamin was a steal last year by this time next year they will saying the same thing about Funchess. You heard it here first....

You weren't the only one.  People were very against him in my Funchess thread but there also those pretty excited about the possibility.  You have to think when DG first met him he was just like...I gotta do something to get this kid in the draft.

GUYS WE HAVE A #2 RECEIVER. WOOOO

Also, Funchess' interviews are great, he's very intelligent and relaxed with microphones in his face. And Shaq is the same way. I can't wait to hear these guys in the locker room talking about how they won the game!

(AP) — It had been a while since the Carolina Hurricanes had finished practice, with players coming and going from the locker room. Yet Logan Stankoven was still on the ice, leaving a crowd of reporters patiently waiting at his locker. Such is the dynamic for the 23-year-old as the Eastern Conference's top seed heads into Round 2 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs to face the Philadelphia Flyers. Stankoven has been rolling at nearly a point-per-game pace going back to mid-March, including scoring in every game of Carolina's first-round sweep of Ottawa. Beyond the immediacy of that spotlight, though, is the other piece of Stankoven's story: the Hurricanes are betting he can keep growing into the role as second-line center, coming after spending multiple seasons searching for an answer there.
