So Jerry Jones wined & dined La'el Collins at his house and told

him he wanted to build the "greatest OL ever". Even Romo was

there to beg.

Jerry Jones was never going to let La'el Collins walk out of his

house without signing. Wow.

BREAKING: #LaelCollins ate dinner at Jerry Jones ' house, and

every course was great, until @TonyRomoNFLQB fumbled

dessert at the end...

So Jerry Jones didn't invite Ron Leary and Doug Free over to

dinner last night to meet with La'el Collins , too? Wonder why.

(the other three starting OL, all All-Pros, were there)

okay so the red carpet was rolled out and he was wined and dined by the owner and everybody cried at his amazing press conference where he talked about how amazing and awesome everything is going to be

so what happens in training camp when he's getting his ass kicked by veteran nfl defensive lineman every day, getting poo talked to him, and carrying pads

35-yr-old Tony Romo says he plans on playing until he's 40:

Tony Romo to Jerry Jones last night, per Jones: "I plan on

playing five more years. What we’re putting together here will

allow me to do it."

My God imagine if a Romo had this OLine 6 years ago, he'd

have a few rings by now.

Not sure Tony Romo could ask for more around him - meaning

the guys in front of him - in his age 35 season.

Romo now plans to practice his golf swing when he drops back

to pass.

The MonStar @ DCB_MonStar

Romo will have enough time to make a sandwich, eat it, wipe

his mouth, and wash his hands before he throws the ball.

Tony Romo 's gonna have more time in the pocket than my first

condom.

Collins was on the national radar. We weren't relying on our terrible local beat writers on this one.

I'm not "bashing" the organization. I'm simply stating that it would be in accordance with our recent history if we didn't even inquire about Collins. We had James Hurst here in our backyard for the taking last year and showed zero interest. He went on to start at OT for the Ravens last year as a UDFA while we fielded the worst OT tandem in the NFL in Byron Bell and Nate Chandler.

I get what you're saying, but with the presented logic you kind of negate your point.

Bell and Chandler both started for the Panthers as UDFAs while Hurst started only because Monroe needing surgery.

People were shitting themselves for an OT last offseason to the point of where they were ready to take more UDFAs. Yet, we draft Darryl Williams and people get butt hurt that we traded up to get a OT... when these same ass clowns were the ones saying we could have at least taken a tackle late. :(
