Only you

How many of you have one of those friends or family members that just seems to be a magnet for weird s--t happening? You know, the kind of stuff that just makes you look at them, shake your head and go "Only you, dude; only you."

For me, it's my sister, the one whose 'moments of infamy' include things like spraining her ankle getting off a toilet because she sat there till her legs fell asleep.

Who do you know like this, and what's their weirdest story?

(or is it you?)

That's my sister too...minus the "dude".

What are your best examples?

(don't worry if you've posted them before)

My neighbor setting my house on fire with flair gun, almost getting arrested on new year... I had both hands against cop car when fireworks begun. And many many more.

I'll start this off with this... I love my Mom, but she's had some crazy things happen to her.

1) She tore her ACL jumping up and down while waving a dish rag in a desperate attempt to get the fire alarm in the kitchen to turn off. She probably shouldn't have been wearing heels at the time.

2) She crashed a moped while in Bermuda on a cruise vacation. My sister was on the back while I was riding with my dad. We were coming around a corner of a winding road, she lost it and her handle bars scraped against the entire side of a car driving on the other side of the road. They go down and slide 100 yards along the road without getting hit by another car and end up in a cactus bush. Ambulance came, they went to a Bermuda hospital, got patched up (no serious injuries, just scraped and cuts), and then we enjoyed the rest of our vacation (without mopeds).

    • I dont think people realize how hard it is to find a consistent starting QB in the NFL. Byrce will not heart us to a SB but I do think he can manage to get us one or close..go all in on defense and change the Offensive passing game and play calls. I really think our biggest problem is our HC.  Take New Orleans QB for example, switch him and Bryce and I promise you it'll look similar or worse. New Orleans OC is levels ahead of Canales. And as far as the draft goes, in this division with as much rb talent as we face ..the answer...this guy:    Pick up a couple edge rushers in FA along with a corner and plug this guy in Rozeboom's spot. Defense solved. But only if we get a top tier rusher on that dline....jus saying
    • I think I'm going to the game in Los Angeles vs Paraguay, and the England / Croatia game here in Dallas since my mom is British.  For decent seats anywhere in the building(s) it looks like it will be upwards of $7k for the two games.  Insane. Just for perspective, you could buy field level EPL tickets for any one of the top sides in the league, and it would be 10% of the price you'll pay for crappy seats at the World Cup.
    • Meh… I knew this thread would turn into a Bryce/Tua comparison, when they couldn’t be further apart situations.   Dolphins catered there whole offense toward Tua, they brought in a coach that would run a Tua friendly offense, the went in got the best most explosive WR in the NFL and paired him the fastest WR in that years draft. Panthers have done the opposite, they went and got a Pete Carroll disciple who likes to run the ball under center, they drafted big slow WR who got little separation in college. Literally the polar opposite of Bryce’s scouting report coming out of Alabama.   Tua was a decent QB 2 years ago, but the concussions, lack of movement have caught up to him. He never had a great arm to begin with but now since he doesn’t want to get hit he’s taking the whole offense down with him.
