BREAKING: NFL changes PAT rule for 2015. Kicks will be from 15-yard line, 2-point try will stay at 2-yard line & defense can return.

Essentially a 32yd attempt as has already been stated. I think this is a step in the right direction.

I don't think it will mean that many more 2pt conversions.  From the 15 will only slightly decrease the percentage of made extra points.  From 99 to 98 percent or something along that line

So this essentially removes a fake PA attempt.

Anybody have Gano's stats on 30-35 yard FGs? Probably not much different from his XP conversion rate. Don't think this changes a whole lot.

EDIT: Since coming to Carolina he's 19/21 from 30-39 yards. I'm assuming those misses were in the higher portion of that range, but can't recall off the top of my head.
