Do you honestly think there is a chance that Curry doesn't get a max extension when the time comes? I understand you guys have dreams of the kid playing in Charlotte because he's responded with "sure I've thought about it, how could I not?" when asked about playing in Charlotte by local Charlotte reporters while playing the Bobcats (now Hornets), but you guys put an awful lot of stock into that crap. 

I'm not gonna drift this awesome news thread with Steph Curry news. Go to the NBA forum if you'd like to talk more about that.

1. You brought up Steph Curry in this thread, so why are you surprised when people comment on that...in a Carolina Sports forum...where there are many Hornets fans...

2. Your Golden State homerism is obnoxious and what makes it worse is that you get off on the fact that our areas best talent was drafted by your team. You and yours posting Golden State threads in the "Charlotte Hornets" forum is borderline troll behavior, which I find odd coming from a mod.

The messed up part is that I really enjoy most of your posts, but the Golden State stuff makes me cringe, especially the "stir the pot" posts about Curry. We get it, your team is great; they are having a wonderful year: but at this point, although I would love Curry to come to the Hornets, I would rather just see him on any other team than Golden State, if not for any other reason than to reduce the bandwagon Golden State crap on these forums.

So how does this affect our cap space THIS yr. He already counts for almost 15M. If he gets 20m a yr that includes this yr. Where is that extra 5 coming from or is the cap hit and not the actual money backloaded?

      Boy the flyers look good early. Lots of bad plays and slow start by our team. Hope that changes before the score changes.

      I guess I should have stipulated outside the sacred cow.   I complained from year one that Bryce should compete for and win the starting job on his own merit but no he was just handed it. I have been right there with everyone that wants competition.  But I don’t really have a huge problem with it for this season the way it has gone because where are the viable people we don’t have to trade for? I actually am okay with tiny hands Pickett because he is so close to Bryce arm strength wise and to be honest, skill wise. Probably. And it is only a one year deal.  That also takes into account that the QB class is looking stacked next year and if Young fails miserably then we get either a reset or a real competition and there will be more guys that I would like looking at in the FA QB class next year as well.    I sort of accept where we are this year and look at it as another treading water year (at QB). I just want to get to next year with some clarity. More than anything. And they did empty out the room. Again, who was really there for us?  And I know it would not be a true competition at this point anyway. They are giving him the year, like it or not.    Also I don’t give a poo about winning games IF he sucks and or goes down after sucking because draft position and that stacked QB class.  And I want out from under him So Bad.     So I guess it is several factors that lessen my anxiety over his backup this particular season.    I am not trying to convince anyone, but you asked. That’s how I look at it.
