from NY Post:

"According to the police report, Richardson was clocked doing 143 miles per hour in what police believe was a street race. When the police tried to pull over Richardson’s 2014 Bentley Silver Spur, he accelerated and tried to avoid the police. He pulled off I-64, turned off all of the vehicle’s lights and sped through a traffic light, according to the police.

Richardson eventually turned into a driveway and the officers told him,  at gunpoint, to exit the vehicle because they saw him reach for something between his feet. Richardson complied, but police found a loaded semi-automatic handgun under the mat on the driver’s side. The officers also said they smelled marijuana in the vehicle. There were two adult males and a 12-year-old in the car."

I expect it was a young relative or maybe a friend's kid.

But add in that Richardson apparently didn't tell the Jets about his arrest. They first heard the news when the story broke...on a day when Richardson was telling reporters all about how he was taking full responsibility for his actions.

    • They will be if they extend Young but I don't think we're there just yet. Morgan and Canales are tied and I don't believe Tepper is going to go look for a new front office for Bryce as things stand.
    • I was playing around with the ESPN playoff predictor and it shows if 49ers and Rams finish with same record, the Rams hold the tiebreaker.
    • This is my thinking as well. Seattle played as good as they could on defense and Panthers still had a chance until those back to back turnovers.  I don't think the Rams played particularly well in their game against us, alot things went our way in order to win.  Someone pointed out the Rams were bad on the east coast road games and Seattle has been the better road team but they just fought a hard contested game against the Panthers, and now they travel to San Fran this week for their biggest game of the season to determine the division and if they are the overall #1 seed in the NFC or will be traveling for the Wildcard weekend.  If they lose they then travel back cross the country to play a team they've just beaten two weeks ago, not saying they won't be favored against the Panthers but the energy of hosting our first playoff game in 10 years along with the get back effect of having just lost to this team could be huge.
