Please remember that the owner of this joint has already made his annual decree about the Panthers forum going back to Panthers news only. That means news from other players or teams or contract extensions or Steve Smith or Tom Brady or Russell Wilson or his hideous ex-wife all go into the general NFL section until February.

And don't try to be sneaky and throw in a Panthers player as a buzz-word to an article that has nothing to do with the Panthers in an effort to make it appear Panther related. You know who you are...

Was this in response to the "Russell Wilson sucks because he's got a 2-9 W/L record when the opponent scores 24+" thread? Cam Newton has a 3-24-1 W/L record when the opponent scores 24+. That thread warranted a ban. At least use logic and common sense to bash other players.

C'mon Monsta, Wilson's contract has been all over the Panther's board the last few weeks. Surely we're not so far into the season to not talk about the second biggest QB contract ever?

I moved yours because someone beat you to the post by 20 minutes but no one noticed it because they put it in the general NFL section where it is supposed to go at this point. We can't punish them by keeping yours in the much more traveled panthers section while their thread rots away in the general NFL news section. 

People need to start venturing to the other awesome sections of this site outside the main forum. Brews and Bruhs, and the Tinderbox are two of my personal favorites, because each present their own special brand of stupid.

      I still think another QB is brought in Day 3. Grier is camp body level at this point.

      We’re in a pickle. My best hope is we protect him and can run the ball vs most Ds and the WRs are healthy so he has every chance to not look like what he looked like in too many games last year.

      I'm really not stressing about upgrading from Bryce. I'm frustrated with our inability (or refusal) to recognize overall bad QB performance and failure to seriously address the issue. QB is the most impactful position on the field, and we're not only settling for what we've been given to this point, but we've rewarded it with a fully guaranteed 5th year extension for a player that's never played 2 NFL franchise QB quality games back to back in 3 seasons. I can't understand how that's ok from a coach's or GM's viewpoint. Successful franchises don't do things like this. It just doesn't make sense.  We do not have a top half of the league QB right now. Since we don't have that player, we should be looking for him. Pickett isn't it. Grier isn't it. Bryce hasn't proven he is yet. Until you have that sure fire franchise QB, you keep looking. You're not consistently making the playoffs, a deep run, or a SB appearance without one.  What's the worst that could happen? We end up with 2 potential number 1 QBs? How horrible.
