Panthers Roster Projection Update

Am I the only one that thinks Byrd should be given a roster spot over Cotchery? 

With a player like Byrd we will need to see Preseason before its a for gone conclusion but he is def more diverse than Cotchery and Bersin.

I was wondering who is on the bubble to go if we pick up any free agents after the first and second cuts? Or do you think we have room or need any free agents after cuts?

I think 6 linbackers will make it and only 5 corners will espcially if Colin jones makes it as a safety because he can play nickle corner. I think two of Glanton Klein and Trusnik will make the team

I think the staff as a soft spot for Horton.  I see him making it as a DE again instead of a 5th DT. 

Klein is a mystery to me.  There will definitely be an odd man out from Mayo, Glanton, Trusnik, and Klein.   

It's been pretty quiet on the Houston and Teddy W. fronts but that back end CB battle should be fun to watch.  I like Young and White and can see us keeping only 5 considering what Jones and Shaq bring.  

The new fan faves in Wegher and Ward will be interesting to see.  I think it's possible both could make the active but Ward has the better shot.

I agree. I think Cotch and Bersin are redundant. Byrd has upside as a speed and slot guy.

Kalil to Seattle for Okung and a mid round pick in 2016. 

wouldn't do it, Kalil is well liked in our locker room. would rather draft a LT prospect and groom him on a rookie contract
