J Leman signed with the Eagles, Favorite may as well

It is kind of funny how everybody was clamoring that we keep Leman because he was going to be this elite linebacker and now the only reason another team would sign him would be to get signals from the almighty Panthers. The same team that was blown off the hinges in their last game that meant anything and has gone 0-4 this preseason.

Not to say our season is lost, but I highly doubt the Eagles are looking at this game as anything less than a winnable game with or without advantages.

Leman can stand on his own as a good player.

I don't think many were clamoring about him being an elite linebacker. I think most just saw potential and wanted to see if he could pan out.

its not hard to figure out what the panthers will do...

yeah, there is no need to pick up scrubs to figure out Fox's gameplans......give Fox a 1pt lead and opponents have already commented on knowing exactly what Fox will do.

I still don't know why the Panthers didn't sign Leman to the practice squad? When many thought Leman had a good shot at making the team. Also why dump Favorite ; whos had weeks in your system for another rookie that was cut by the Steelers?

because the guy from the steelers shows more upside?

They won't "need" signals to beat the defense, but it will sure make their jobs a lot easier. The Patriots didn't "need" to secretly film the Jets' practicing or whatever, but that sure made their jobs a lot easier.

Teams dont use signals anymore for the most part. They have a radio in a D players helmet. Unless they go down before the game we will not use hand signals.

    • I never thought a second look was even necessary. I was begging the football gods not to have us trade up to the 1st pick. And damn once we did it was a thoroughbred vs a little pony.    If you have a perceived generational player in the pool and you have the 1st pick, you just don’t trade it. In the first place. But all this Bryce drama - which (understandably) takes over almost any thread, just like this one - would never have happened if the team was not sold to Tepper.
    • I agree. I understand why he did though. And surely he had his parents in his ear who have always gone out of their way to make sure he always had the best and the least amount of adversity around him to that point in his life advising him to do so. Where I take the most issue with it is when people who just want to be sycophants start listing off other QB's who didn't throw at the combine and you don't even make it through half the names before your eyes roll right into the back of your head realizing every single of those QB's who didn't throw already clearly showcased the necessary prerequisite physical talents needed for the position.
