How much is to much for Micheal Floyd?

If they are actually shopping him or willing to get rid of him for a mid rounder, this is actually a very solid idea, and maybe even a possibility. Would be a best case scenario to replace KB, in my opinion. Not that he'd be as good as him or a "solid #1" but he would at least be a proven playmaker for us and would be better than anyone we have now. I wouldn't give up any more than a 3rd though, and I'm not sure that'd do it for them.

Michael Floyd's salary this year is $1.75 million with a cap hit of $3.1 million.

Next year his salary and cap hit blow up to $7.32 million.  For a guy who has averaged 800 yards a season and has caught 13 total TD passes in 3 years.

So... no.

If I  understand it right, they'd have to eat the bonus money on his contract.  He wouldn't be owed any guaranteed money from us.

Still, I would have to think they'd want more than we'd want to give up for him.  He's still pretty cheap this season and then they could just cut him next year.

It's his fifth-year rookie option, all-base and fully guaranteed, the new team would be responsible for the whole thing. Arizona seems to already be having buyer's remorse for exercising the option.

    • It was so funny seeing that being replayed on social media everywhere............like the dude wasn't wide ass open...............in a meaningless game lol
    • Don't you remember that time he turned around and signaled TD as soon as he released the ball to a guy who was WIDE ASS OPEN? I mean, that very basic ass play with an admittedly nice little celebration factor has been the highlight of his career so far.
    • Throwing 2 ints to Jessie Bates in his first game sealed it for me. He arm talent was pitiful since day one. Some QBs you just know whether they have "it" or not. We knew Cam was going to be something even BEFORE his historic rookie debut. That preseason against the Bengals, when he took off for a 16 yd TD run and trucked multiple bengal defenders, you knew this kid was going to be special. There has yet to be ONE instance where you say "wow, this kid is going to be special" with Bryce.
