Is Star a Two-Contract Player for Carolina?

Star admitted this week he wouldn’t be 100%, but last week he said he wouldn’t play unless 100%. They MAY play the cautious card again.

Sorry, but I'm starting to question his drive. Would Luke, Cam, TD, Greg, or a host of other guys say they're not playing unless they're 100%?

Question his drive?  If I'm a 300+ lb. man that lives in the trenches, and I had a broken foot, then a stress reaction... I'm not stepping onto the field until it's 100%.  That's a career decision.

Oh, is it?

So if a player has sprained knee ligaments, does that player rerecommended to sit or risk complete tear but it is up to their discretion and if the player sits out the next game considered to have no drive?  Let's say he is 80%, one set back could take him up to two months or worse, or he could sit to finish healing to be back for the season with a minimal risk of aggravating the foot injury again.  I take the one more game as the Panthers man up to ensure full health by break, in which all our important players are healthy in the brutal stretch after our week off.

First of all, that first sentence had to be deciphered, but I get the jist.

Second of all, I'm not unreasonable. I'm a fan of Lotulelei. But I'd like to see our impact players get on the field when they're healthy enough, not waiting til they're 100%. What player is 100% after training camp? At the very least, humor us.

Who determines 100%, anyway? I work in an office and I never feel 100%. I don't think I've felt 100% since before my first kid was born.

Then would you not extend that same thought process to what Star is saying? You've never been 100% so you don't mean it literally but Star must now be taken to mean literally 100%? He's talking about his foot being healthy. You're reading too much into it. I'm fine if he doesn't come back until after the bye.
