Why?

He has done nothing most of his career. He has trouble getting open now and if you get released after all the time he has been in the NFL it is not because you are getting better or an attractive target for most other teams. Id rather have Nicks if you were to compare the two big, injury prone WRs with former glory.

@RapSheet: WR Duron Carter and DL Josh Chapman were both among the surprises on the #Colts cut list.

 

Carter had 8 catches for 110 yards the last 2 weeks fwiw

There's a corner names Charles James that was cut in Houston. Got a lot of hype from Hard Knocks and the fact that he also scored a 73 uard TD lining up at runningback.

Tre Mcbride was cut by the Titans. 7th round pick from this year.  He is pretty raw but I was hoping we would draft him. Came from a small school (William and Mary) so he probably needs some development. Worth taking a look at.

that dude is a physical specimen with unreal numbers at the combine...especially at his position. Really spent a lot of time looking at game film on this guy and was pissed when the Saints nabbed him. 

 

Definitely wouldn't mind taking a flyer on this guy.

Trade out the above listed Panthers for the cut players in bold and you have a massive improvement in the talent of the Panthers depth. However, I believe the Panthers brass are too emotionally set on their favorites/project players to make the moves.
