It seems like some tough but smart decisions are being made. 

We have 5 WRs as it stands.  That makes me wonder...

#Panthers are planning to release RB Jordan Todman. That’s a surprise after his strong camp and preseason. Whittaker and/or Ginn KRs?

Todman odd man out at the RB position. That's a surprise.

Damn I'm bummed they are cutting Todman.  Dude has burst.  He'll get picked up quick.

Todman was the low man on the totem pole. I love the way he runs and it was certainly different from the sameyness of the other backs, but we just didn't see it yield enough results I don't believe.

Maybe only keeping 3 rbs. Can't see them keeping wegher over todman. Todman is really the only one that brings that top end speed. All the other rbs are pretty similar.

Of those cut, I gotta say I am surprised and bummed at the Cox and Lucas cuts.  Especially Cox, he had a great preseason - 3.5 -4 sacks if I'm not mistaken.

I think having Ginn reducing Todman's value as a returner may have played a factor.

I'm thinking this has to do more with Weghers potential.  They signed Todman after Ginn.  Weghers development came out of nowhere.

Wrong. Wegher has some speed too but Todman was just a speed guy. Fozzy fills that role without issue.

I've been saying for a while that I like fozzy over them... I was just washing that if todman is gone like wegher is gone too.
