I don't think Luke will play Sunday

Prepare for the worst, hope for the best.  There's a chance he clears by Saturday.  Benjamin had that scenario last season.  Concussion in game, and cleared before the next Sunday.  All depends on the severity.  I'm pretty comfortable with Klein in the middle though, but obviously Kuechly is preferred.

Sounds like Luke Kuechly is in 2nd phase of the protocol: gradual return to exercise. I would guess he'll be on the stationary bike today.

Bene and Norman seemed very confident in AJ Klein on last nights podcast. Of course they are going to be positive so take it for what it's worth, but they kinda went above and beyond the whole yeah he can play standard answer. 

There is obviously no replacing Luke Kuechly, but I feel good about AJ starting in his place if need be, especially if Star is back out there. 

Hoyer Mallett might die.

Good news on Star...means he likely should be on a light rep count at least Sunday.

as i said in another thread, Luke being out is a big friggin blow, but having star back certainly will help us weather the storm.  Star is a partial reason that luke has had the success he has had, not taking away from luke but star is a mon-STAR in the middle of that defense.  Hes the only DT on the team that can consistently blow up double teams and is the most consistent at stopping the run.  KK is a beast as well,  but hes more of a pass rushing Dtackle more so than star.

Star's beard will draw double teams by itself. Then the rest of him will draw a double team. Mallet or Hoyer, who ever starts is fuged come Sunday.
