If I'm being honest, I'd still probably rather have Malzahan, or Chip Kelly (as long as he's not the GM/total control over the roster as well).  Hell I'd take Bill O'Brien or just about any other coach as long as a different OC came with him.  Our team wins in spite of our coaching, not because of it.  I'm not as hard on Rivera as I used to be, but that soft defense poo to end every half still pisses me off.

At least we know Malzahn knows how to use Cam.

Kelly has won 10 games each of the past two seasons with mediocre/bad quarterbacks.

With Cam, Kelly would have this offense damn near unstoppable. 

 

I don't know, it seems to me his teams have gotten progressively worse. He might have traded Luke, Josh, and a few others so he could get his less talented guys.   It is early though
