There are a significant number of people that would rather be 2-2 and being sucked off by Trey Wingo or Bill Simmons than be 4-0 and be labeled the worst 4-0 team in football.

What drives me crazy? The irrational Shula bashing in the game day threads.

Look, I didn't want the guy hired either. But every play that fails is not his fault. Sometimes the players fug up and sometimes the opposing D makes a good play.

Posting "Shula sux" and "fire his ass today" 30 times in a thread is obnoxious as hell, and just makes the poster look like an emotional teenager.

If you'd have told people before the season started that we'd be without Benjamin for the year and Keuchly until after the bye, most folks would have been thrilled with a 2-2 record. Love Rivera or hate him, there are two constants with him: we start our seasons slow and we finish really strong. That bodes really, really fuging well for us. We're also winning games that we used to piss away and recovering/toughing things out when we shoot ourselves in the foot like the good teams do.

Also, to add some perspective to how awesome it is to start off on a tear, we only need to win four of our final twelve games to beat last years record and to end at .500. We're going to win more than that.

This is badass and I feel really fuging sorry for anyone who can't lean back and just fuging enjoy and admire what the team has done.

Seriously, I thought a few of the posters in the game day chat were about to slit their wrists at half time and we had a 7 point lead.  

Crazy expectations of some people.  You play a division opponent in their house, you take a lead into half time, you be happy with that lead.

I really am impressed with our tenacity this year.  It's like they refuse to lose so far.

The toughness and heart rivera has instilled in the team will seperate us late in the season.  So starting fast is a huge plus.

Didnt really get the Shula anger either at times today.  I know I defend him more than most around here, but people seemed pissed we werent chucking the ball around amd throwing deep with a drenched football.

Greg Olsen was absolutely awful at run blocking today. So soft it was embarrassing.

 

Most everything else was awesome and I'm very proud of Cam and our line backers. Glad we blew those chumps out today. We are awesome.

He has never been a great run blocker.  That was one of the reasons Chicago decided to move him.
