If Cotch is back for Seattle who gets cut, if anyone?

Today coach Rivera said it was possible Cotch would be healthy for the Seattle game. My question is does anyone get the axe with him becoming active? I honestly believe Bersin has contributed enough over the last few weeks to stay on the roster. He is a great posession guy. My thought is to cut the guy from Seattle and if he clears waviers add him to the PS. It is clear he hasnt picked up the system and I would think if a danger of him getting picked up existed we probably would have given more than a conditional 7th to get the guy.

Man I'm glad none of you are GMs cutting a guy that's barely seen the field? Who has potential and is young? Y'all are getting crazy in the Huddle these days

I'm sure no GM wants to cut a guy. But it has to happen.

It's not that you want to cut guy, but we are playing to win. If Norwood can't help that right now, bye. Say hi to the practice squad. His turn might come again this year. Who do you propose we cut?

I mean he is on the roster, we could just make a different player inactive, but that would be too logical.

Correct.

Cotchery isn't on IR.  They don't absolutely have to cut anybody if he's healthy.  They can just deactivate someone.

Now, it is possible that they might, but they don't have to.

Stop, the both of you!

Knowledge of the rules and logic have no place in the huddle!

    • If Henderson just got a concussion and will possibly/probably now miss next week as well, gotta think missing 2 games of stats at this point of the year might knock him out as he was only just entering the discussion the last few weeks anyways.  Same goes for Judkins going down today too, and Dart's god awful game likely removes him from the conversation as well. It will be interesting to see how the voters compare T-Mac and Egbuka if they end up with stats that are nearly identical. Egbuka burst onto the scene and put up the bulk of his stats early in the year when Baker was playing like the MVP front runner.  While T-Mac was just more consistent throughout the course of the full season (ex. Egbuka has 8 games of 42 yards or less, T-Mac has 4 of them, while T-Mac still scored 3 TDs in those 4 games, where Egbuka only scored 1 TD in his 8). It would be a shame if they put too much weight on the final game of the season if that ends up being the division decider, as I think T-Mac has had the better SEASON while Egbuka had a better peak output during that first month or so but way cooled off since. Maybe Warren goes off in the last 3 games (they still play tomorrow), but it does seem to be down to T-Mac and Egbuka right now.
    • Mitchell Evan’s put a block on someone that he drove them all the way out of bounds and to the bench. He absolutely destroyed the guy. He’s gonna be a beast for us if he keeps that up.
    • Yall... stop taking a sample size and projecting a role player into a permanent starter cuz he had a decent year after what, 5? Come on
