Jerricho's back, too

Jerricho Cotchery participated in practice and looks to be headed back to the field. Here's hoping a class act like him can get back to playing soon. It would be great to have as many of our folks healthy as possible against Seattle.

Hopefully Allen will come back around before game time, too.

Good news about Cotch.  Hope Allen will be ok to play.

Amini was practicing too today, I believe.  Not that we want him to get playing time, but he is critical Oline depth at the moment.

Other than CJ who is on the IR/DTR, I think our only other injury is Daryl Williams, who it sounds like needs at least one more week before he will be ready to play.

    • Yards per attempt is what I always look at as the most important key metric Take a guess where BY ranks compared to other QBs...     32nd<---- Highlight for answer
    • Fowler is thd only one putting any serious consideration in to Evero. Who knows.
    • If I remember correctly, we thought Jerry Jones was going to take Brooks so we traded up to take him. I wanted Frazier, no secret there, but we also needed an edge rusher, LB, safety, CB, pretty much everything other than DB and Horn. That's why I said we could have addressed a pass catching RB in FA if that's what it was thought Bryce needed to be successful. Even if it was a 1 year contract, there's always another available the next year. Rico is a perfect example. We just had too many long term holes to fill, especially on defense, to use that pick on an injured RB. Like I said, I get the logic of why and the likely mandate from Tepper, which is an entirely different problem with an owner dictating how a GM needs to build the team, and then is that GM really qualified or just a front guy. But when you look at the rest of the team, even if Brooks was 100%, we had just too many damn holes and we had already spent a chunk of our FA cap on Hunt and Lewis, and a 1st on XL. At some point Bryce has to elevate the players around him if he's going to be the guy.
