taints-foulcunts tonight

Falcons have had to come back in the fourth quarter in four out of five games and that defense is still suspect. Division games  are always difficult.. Especially prime time in that dome. Saints can pull off the upset

I see you and others keep bringing this up but like it or not, good teams win in the 4th quarter. This might sound odd because it's the Falcons but that is what Quinn has designed them to do. Ground and pound teams into submission and then dominate the 4th quarter.

It's no fluke that they have won games in the 4th qtr in 4 of 5 of those games. Even when they have been down multiple TD's they never abandoned the run which most teams will do. They have been down in the 4th quarter yet I believe they have still run the ball more than any other team in the 4th qtr (and in total), controlled the clock more than any other team in the 4th qtr,  and outscored their opponents more than other teams in the 4th qtr.

I know that won't be a popular opinion around here because it's the Falcons but what they have done so far is a testament to Quinn's coaching job so far. Is it sustainable? Not sure but the model certainly is and what makes the Falcon's dangerous is that they have an identity which is what they lacked under coach Smith.

freeman is not going to be able keep up with his current pace. The dude is an absolute beast but pounding the rock 30+ times a game plus his receiving production won't be sustainable late November and December IMO.

This is a sports forum and not a national paper so i get it he is trying to be funny in the title ...let up a little on the bashing.

As far as the game goes iam pulling for the saints with that said if the Falcons continue to play jones as a decoy when hurt he may eventually keep him gimpy the rest of the year. So for that we thank you falcons coaching staff.

Falcons have a strong offense but I fully expect them to implode to some degree and give up a loss to a team considered inferior- will it happen tonight? Who knows but the chances are good. I have never understood people who sit there and write teams off simply because they have sucked a couple games. never know when a team will come alive.
