A nod to Ryan Delaire

Young man was in the backfield all game...should have had a sack if Wilson didn't toss it at last minute. Made the tackle on Wilson when he scrambled with 20 seconds left and came from across the field. Dude is going to be a player. When C.J and Allen come back, he will be a great piece of the puzzle.

He lost contain and over pursued a few times, but that's to be expected from a rookie.  I can't wait to see what he turns into in the NFL,I think we found a good one.

to me though, I was pleasantly surprised with Ealy who had a really good game.  Still don't know if he'll ever be the guy we want him to be, but for the first time this season, he flashed some real promise.

This dude plays like he's in fast forward and everyone else is just playing.  Even when he wasn't getting to the QB, he was harassing him and basically destroying protection.  I'm very glad this young man is beasting and feasting for our squad.  Eat my man eat!

Kid has got a motor.  I saw two plays where he missed an arm tackle, went down, and then caught back up to the ball carrier to get in on the final tackle.

Also I think it helps the 4 D linemen to know that Luke is back there covering ground like a damn safety. It seemed to me that they were going wide today and leaving the middle open because they knew Luke would be clean.

    • Been here a while but rarely post and most of them are smartazz. Mostly lurk just so I can sound informed while hanging out drinking beer in my neighbors garage. Amusingly a Huddle level of knowledge kind of makes you a subject matter expert. Thanks for that.
    • That’s similar as saying MVP Cam is the same as rookie Cam because his mechanics didn’t change. We’re talking about production.
    • In 2025 Sam Darnold had over 1k more passing yards than Bryce Young on 1 less pass attempt. Repeat that to yourself several times and let it sink in. I absolutely love it when people come on here and invoke Sam Darnold like some gotcha. Darnold is the physical prototype for what anyone needs in a franchise QB. All the physical tools. Few people thought he would put it all together on the mental side of the position. He used to make some of the worst decisions you would ever see. At times in the past he made up for that with absurd throws and athleticism. But make no mistake whatsoever no matter how you feel about our starting QB. Bryce Young is a completely opposite conundrum. He lacks virtually any and all physical tools and athleticism and his elite processing is really mediocre at best on a good day and horrific on a bad day. These are realities people should have already been addressing instead of quadrupling down in year four.
