last night my buddy and i watched the game with the winston salem riot (@Cary Kollins, @Nate Dogg, @Your GFs favorite huddler, @Jimmy, and a few other badasses represented nicely) and then headed back to greensboro. we decided to catch a movie.

dude at the theater had been stuck behind the counter all day and freaked when he saw my shirt and asked what had happened in the game. i gave him the second half play-by-play and he freaked out again and straight up gave us free movie tickets because the panthers are undefeated and everyone needs to celebrate.

wealth may not trickle down to the common man, but winning sure as hell does. thank you panthers

I got to skip to the front of the TSA line one time because I was wearing a Panthers shirt. That was pretty cool, not free movie tickets cool, but TSA is a pain in the ass cool.

just curious PhillyB, do you ever visit uptown Charlie's for the panther games?

actually not for a panthers game. i went up there for a packers playoff game with some friends last week. decent spot but they shut the entire place down before the game was even over, which was kind of lame

      After last season, it was the same question. And the answer most people came to was "If he doesn't make the playoffs, he's gone." He made the playoffs. No matter how it was done, we made it to the playoffs. He's safe. He's going to have a chance to keep working this out, even if next season isn't a playoff one.  I think we'll do better next year than we did this season. There's something being built here.

      The NBA is a very fickle league. Kon is one of the hottest rookies in years and beyond just his play on the court he is a very steady competitor and that translates to the rest of the team. That has been a glaring absence with the culture of this franchise through the bulk of the LaMelo Ball years that's just being completely blunt and realistic. The enigma of LaMelo Ball is he is entering year 6 and still either red hot or ice cold. We need him to find that sweet spot. Logic dictates the Hornets will want to see this core again next year. But the clock is beyond ticking at this point. It's put up or shut up. Especially considering what the Thunder managed to do recently. I'm hopeful they can keep these wins rolling in and get some much needed playoff experience under their belts which will help substantially.

      I think as long as the Panthers are competitive with Canales they should keep him. Pepper needs to repair his/the teams image as a place prized free agents aren't hesitant to consider. Just dont do any crazy poo for a few years.
