God just beautiful, literally the happiest I have ever been as a Panthers fan in the 5 years I have been following them and it's not even close, I would even go so far as to say this is better than the 9ers and pats wins in 2013 combined! It's been more than 24 hours and I'm just as happy as I was lastnight. God almighty this team. Yesterday was the day the Panthers dynasty started. This is a sea change for this franchise

Wow. More subdued music than I thought it would have but that is part of what makes it soooo good. Let's the video do the shouting, yes. And your working at an NBC station and choosing which clips to broadcast is the best part of the story. I always 'like' all your stuff on FB. :)

My god. WHAT A GAME. Yesterday at work (work for NBC news at a station outside of Seattle) I gladly cut together the highlights. I also gladly trolled the Hawk fans who were watching, because when my script asked for a video tease of the game, I would put in either A) GW TD or B) Cam Newton doing his superman celebration and sticking his tongue out at everyone. This occurred on air about 2-3 times each, each show.

 

In fact, it was played so much (more than they'd have liked) that Jeremy himself ended up being on the newscast almost as much as the anchors. Deal with it, "12s".

 

The excuses weren't as creative, for example my top two favorites that I have heard today/yesterday were: "Well Wagner was out for us" and the oh so famous "We had a miscommunication at the end". Excuses were all I heard, and that fanbase is sinking faster than ever. I gladly wore my black Luke Kuechly jersey today around campus, and saw a lot of pissed off/depressed looking people. I just smiled and waved.

Anyways, to the point of this thread...I have a special treat for you all. IMHO this is a top 5 game of all time. Seattle truly was the one team that always had our number and the team that truly held us back, and if we can go INTO Seattle and beat them, we can beat ANYBODY. After KB went down, and even before. I had hopes just to make the playoffs maybe win a game or two. But now, we are a legit contender for the Superbowl, and with this defense and Cam taking complete control - I don't see why it's NOT possible. I personally think the way we beat Seattle, was a perfect storybook ending. 4 years in a row with the same types of games, all coming down to us having a chance - but blowing it. Seattle thought they had it locked up, because well - against us they always do. But not this time. We put the nail in their coffin, and put some truth into the haters.

Okay I'm not gonna type anymore cause if I'm gonna write a fuggin essay I'll keep it for school rather than in my free time. But it's the Panthers so it's well worth it. Anyways:
