In case you didn't know...

I pointed this out in another thread, but thought it deserved it's own.

In 15 years, the Seattle Seahawks have given up very few 80+ yard drives at home.

In 15 years, no team has ever gone into Seattle and drove 80 or more yards 4 times.

Except us.

Our offense is legitimate. Our defense, when healthy, is a force to be reckoned with. We can beat any team in this league. If we execute better on offense in the first half, the Seattle game was in our control from start to finish.

OK, my last statement on Seattle. Moving on to Philly. Let's eat more bird.

EDIT: In case, like me, you're having people still telling you that the Panthers aren't real contenders because they haven't played anybody. Only 10 teams in the NFL have records over .500. Only 14 teams have a record of .500 or better. So, unless we ONLY played those teams, we can't really help it. Also, one of those teams with a winning record, we play twice this year. Also, the teams we've beaten (with the exception of Jacksonville) are only below .500 because they lost to us. If we lose those games, 4 of our 5 opponents so far would be at .500. So they can shut it.

... I don't think that's right.

Neither undefeated Green Bay nor undefeated Cincinnati have played a team with a winning record.

The only team with a winning record that undefeated Denver has played is the Mighty Minnesota Vikings.

Undefeated Patriots schedule has been pretty legit so far.

But, yeah... Panthers and stuff.

No lie..someone told me that in order for them to take the Panthers seriously, they need to beat someone with a winning record. I then ask this same person what if we lose a close game in the final seconds...still will not take the Panthers seriously.

So I asked this person about the Bengals and Packers and told them they haven't beat anyone with a winning a record either. What's the difference? He said they are proven teams.

So Panthers win the division two years straight, two playoff appearances, win a home playoff game, Beat Seattle IN Seattle which only the Cowboys and Cardinals said they have done and we are still not a proven team? The fug?

You can't fix stupid. My Giants friend think the NFC East is tough this yyear and that the Falcons are the best team in the South.

    • I did not want to start or even think about *if* BY reverts back to pre-non last 9 games.   There is a lane in which Panthers are looking QB after this season, I feel its higher than most will realize. I mean....not kidding... has any team ever traded up to 1st overall twice in the teams history? I don't even want to think within 3 years, just foresee Tepper squeezing Dans and Brandts sacs to the point were they are forced to trade up for a another savior.....   The kicker is I feel this way with BY playing good-great..... I think there with be non-fixable problems for contract negotiations between BY&reps vs Panthers org on the whole. You can not pay 50+ million per over few years with 70% guarantees for 3,303 yards 15 TDs and 9 INTs......Cursed I tell you....
    • It's not surprising, but it's still surprising that many of these guys don't manage their money in such a way that provides them and their families a better lifestyle than most for the rest of their lives without even working a nine-to-five. I can't imagine making over a 100 mil for a decade and ultimately ruminating about supporting my family due to financial issues.
    • That why i mentioned the KC dynasty. Those three different playoff loses were not Allens fault, in fact 1-2 plays and Bills win. KC just have better players and better coaches and more luck.  Defense-wise, Bills have been trying to crack the Reid-Halhomes magic. Its near impossible with rules and KC home field advantage. Spags has started to force the league in naming him the best DC in NFL history. I agree if you take away Bill bielacheat.... Add in Andy Reid the best QB coach and brilliant play designer/play-caller, I mean that's too much for one QB to over-come on his own.  Just trolling or not, bad is bad scot. Allen is legit as any one QB has ever been.
