We are currently #1 in Rushing Yards Per Game

Not sure if anyone mentioned this yet, according to ESPN we rank 1st in rush yards per game at 144.7 yard per game average which kind of surprised me. Also we are 4th in total rush yards at 868 yards , behind Seattle , Atlanta, and the Steelers.

For some reason when I first saw that 144 number I thought that didn't seem like that much to average per game, but I guess most teams usually rack up way more pass yards as opposed to rushing yards ..

Huge props to Stewart, Cam, Tolbert, and especially the offensive line.

It's refreshing watching our offense in a league full of pass heavy teams. Casual fans call it boring, but I find the exact opposite to be true. Watching teams throw the ball all over the field and put up video game numbers is boring as hell to me. I want to watch my team physically impose their will on the other team.

It's hard enough for teams to score on our defense. It's even harder when they're stuck on the sideline most of the game watching us run down their defense's throat.

In my opinion, there is nothing more satisfying in football than watching your team ram it down the opponents throat on a long methodical drive.

Our running game has been the back we have been riding on...those long drives have saved our defense for the end of the games.

No way we'd be 6-0, with all our injuries, if our running game wasn't so good...not to mention the possession all pass receivers we have to throw to.

commentaters didn't say jack squat about Olsen last night.

The great thing about our run game is our options out of the run. I know that we complain about lack of options in the passing game but we sure don't lack that in the running game.

1. Reverses: Philly & Ginn. They are both explosive and have to be respected if not you will see things like Ginn just did.

2. Short Yardage Options: Stewart(2 TDs against Seattle) Tolbert (1 rushing and 1 passing against the Eagles) and Cam with his 4 rushing TDs on the year.

3. Variation: We run lots of wrinkles off the same formations. We run the Cam sweep and then just did the reverse to Ginn out of this formation. We run lots of passes out of the Read Option and throw in Power QB run plays out of the same formation.

4. What to take away?? Philadelphia wanted to take away the Cam running attack so Stewart and the rest of the team runs for 200 yards.

What other team in the NFL can do this?

Stewart is getting ready to bust this season wide open. The guy is running with more effort, power, and heart than anyone in this league right now.

That and OL has gotten good chemistry , wait unitl Darly Williams come back this unit will take us to promise land! Good healthy years to the line and RB's we deserve it.
