It's one thing to be a TV commentator that makes weekly picks, but to be an "analyst" and be that far off the mark, it just shows me that he's awful at this job.

That's next level incorrectness there. It's not as if he said the Panthers weren't going to be good and they turned out ok, he said they would be last place and they were first and the coach he said would get canned won coach of the year.

From a statistical standpoint, it's hard to be that wrong.

Honestly, who would have guessed Norwell and Remmers would have made the impact they did?

Obviously, Schein never watched a game. So, he didn't know the offensive line was down right offensive. And no QB could be successful under those circumstances, particularly with an OC that wouldn't dial up shorter/faster timing routes in the passing game to account for the poor oline play in both the passing and rushing attack.

    • Just objectively speaking, Pickett has been considerably worse than Bryce. His TD production is Pickles level. He's every bit as arm talent limited as Bryce and isn't as good operating out of structure. He's even or worse than Bryce in practically every category other than looking the part from a height/weight perspective. It's hard to find an NFL QB that's truly objectively shittier than Bryce virtually across the board but damn if we didn't pull it off.
    • You shouldn’t care. Personally as an out of the mainstream late boomer (1954) I don’t carry the baggage people put on boomers. I carry my personal baggage. And I wish it were lighter, lol.    It’s a thing where people assign traits to entire population groups. As if there is no variance inside those groups. They are the people you probably should just ignore.
