Titans vs NFC South...

I just remembered they're 2-1 against South so far and barely lost to the Falcons

No wonder their fan-base is confident in them defeating us

Also they're 3-0 against us since they moved to Tennessee so they think that holds something historical because "history repeats itself"

Yea, but the rest of the NFC South actually sucks.

Every fanbase we've faced has regurgitated the same old ill-informed ignorant perceptions.

  • Cam can't pass, stop him from running and WE WIN!
  • Carolina has no receivers outside Olsen, bracket Olsen and WE WIN!
  • Cam isn't accurate and is mistake prone, wait for him to implode and WE WIN!
  • Carolina's defense is the only reason they're winning, just protect the ball and WE WIN!
  • Carolina is a pretender they still haven't beaten anyone worth discussing, everyone will see that when WE WIN!
  • Cam in no better than Kaepernick, stats don't lie just can't see anything other than WE WIN!

Same ol' BS week in week out.  Then they get smashed in the mouth, hard and continuously, and outclassed in a manner that makes them feel as if their team is a long way from being a contender in this league.  Then they hibernate or make excuses in a vain attempt to mask or ignore their ignorant homerism.

NFL fan bases one and all, if you see this post, and you've felt inclined to post any of the above nonsense in support of your team, take note of this bullet point, it's the only accurate prediction you can or should make.

  • If Carolina as a team doesn't show up ready to play or somehow overlooks us, or some crazy rash of injuries or blown calls occur, there's a chance WE WIN!

    • To rub salt in the wound when you look back to what were considered some of the most underwhelming resulting seasons in Panthers history before the Tepper's came along we still managed a top 20 passing offense with journeyman Matt Moore and the ghost of Jake Delhomme in 2009. And Steve Smith was 44th in the league in YAC so it was not a chunk play pass offense. Obviously the run game was dominant with Jonathan Stewart and Deangelo Wiliams but comparatively the run game in 2009 only amassed 500 more rushing yards than the 2025 Panthers in a down year for Chuba Hubbard. It shows just how comically desperate we have become to adjust standards that actually used to mean something.
    • I wouldn't have picked up the option, to me he's that replaceable. I think the Panthers are taking a more cautious strategy, not ready to move on yet but also holding off on committing to him until the last possible time.  Basically, he's a competent NFL QB. He's bottom third in the league. That's actually not a terrible thing. You can win some with a bottom third QB. If over time he takes a few steps forward he might be a median level QB. I think those are the kinds of steps that Canales is talking about. If you've truly got a median level QB, it's probably worth keeping him as opposed to roll on the dice in the draft. But just to be super clear, I don't think he is capable of taking those steps, and I think we should and will move on after the season
    • Unfortunately this is more wishful thinking than anything. The problem is the bar is so low for what they consider success for Bryce Young. I mean we have yet to field even a top 25 passing offense with Bryce Young heading into his fourth season and it's basically considered a when not if we begin contract extension talks with him.
