Who will be our first wide receiver to have a 100 yards in a game this season?

I don't think we'll have one but it's really a complete toss up. Ginn is the best bet, then probably Philly or Funch then Cotch. If Funchess builds off of the GB game then he's probably the best bet but I don't think he's at that point where he can do that consistently yet. Hope I'm wrong but we'll see. Titans secondary is pretty solid. McCourty is out for our game which hurts them but they're still an underrated unit so I doubt it'll happen this week.

Won't happen.  Yet another Trivial Pursuit question that gets asked 25 years from now.

What Panther receiver had a 100 yard receiving game in their perfect 2015 season in which they won the first of 3 consecutive Super Bowls?

A. Devin Funchess

B. Philly Brown

C. Tedd Ginn

D. None of the above

    • No one way to do it, it does appear that with the bigger draft picks of the last 5 years…..majority haven’t steered clear of young QBs on the roster being their hopeful guy. Especially past their rookie seasons but even some the biggest ones have had it early.   As far as Andy Dalton, the two young guys he has “mentored”…..have had very rough NFL starts.  Which really ask the why the heck is Dalton here.   He doesn’t really check any box.  No young potential.  Can’t step in and win.  And his mentor track record with Fields and now Bryce is bad
    • I had thought the Panthers might let him play out his contract this year and hope he stays healthy. If not draft a left tackle and move Ekwonu to right tackle.
    • Frankly, if most teams in the NFL lose their starting QB for a significant amount of time, they're screwed. The fantasy is that one has a future Tony Romo or a Nick Foles that can carry a stacked team. The reality is that you might get roughly 3~5 games out of your backup before it all falls apart. Remember all of Peyton Manning's backups? Utterly terrible. Speaking of backup QB's, Raiders may need one. https://www.nfl.com/news/raiders-qb-aidan-o-connell-suffered-fractured-wrist-in-preseason-finale-expected-to-be-out-6-8-weeks
