Mike Mularkey was SALTY after this game

Also, i was curious to know what he said to Ron at the end of the game.  That seemed like a long, awkward exchange.  Im guessing he said something about Cam to him.

But again, Cam dominated them, our defense dominated them, and you think a couple of penalties were the difference in the game?  Tbh, i felt like the refs were calling it in favor of the titans for the most part.  For example, that block in the back call negating Ginn's PR was a bullshit call.

anyone have a clip of the Coleman hit?

Don't have a clip, but I can describe it.  Mariota was running (past the LOS), Coleman was coming at him from the side, Coleman dove at him at just about the same moment Mariota started his slide (could have been just before, or just after, tough to tell with the camera angles, either way it was too close for Coleman to have STOPPED diving at him) and hit Mariota in the shoulder and chest area with his own shoulder.  It was nowhere near a penalty because Mariota wasn't already down when Coleman hit him and also didn't come remotely close to hitting him in the head.  Clean play by Coleman, textbook of what you're supposed to do in the situation.  If he had hit Mariota in the head it would have been a penalty.

My honest assessment is that the Titans are a fairly talented team cursed by poor coaching. Mariota showed flashes and he could be a threat, and the team might be 2 years away, if they find the right guy. Mularkey isn't the guy.

Also I know it's an AFC team but I'm glad the Panthers beat them decisively because it's something we've been unable to do to this franchise going back to the 90s.

    • Right and I think we can have a conversation about that. But even with the scheme he should still be able to muster more than 1.5 sacks right? I mean DJ Johnson played in Evero's scheme too but that didn't stop us from calling him a bust. Scourton didn't seem to have trouble flashing. There can be different things true at one time.
    • I assume you are quoting my still. If so, I don't know what your argument is since mine was simply showing a play where Bryce scored a TD against the Rams in the playoffs where another poster used a similar still of Herbert's line to defend his poor performance last night. Like I said, Herbert is a better QB but Bryce wins the game last night for the Chargers. It simply is something he does better than Herbert and would play to his strengths. Someone even said earlier Chargers only win 1 or 2 games this year if Bryce was their QB which is so absurdly laughable it wasn't even worth trying to address. I mean this thread is literally called "Bryce Young is the worst QB in Panther's History" so I understand there is no objective arguments to be had here but I found that amusing.
    • I think his knee would make a good reason to switch to guard IF he returns.  Half don't.  Half of those don't last too long.  The strain on a knee (320lb man) vs speed rushers is more substantial.  So I would keep him if I could on a small contract (he will make $17.5 in 2026 fully guaranteed) and think of him as a possible guard for the post Lewis/Hunt era.  Knee injuries in big men are not invitations to invest in them.
