Charlotte media makes nonstories, stories.   They eat this junk up and are all over it.  Then act like it is ashame they are forced to deal with what they are main factors in creating ...instead of the 9-0 actual football team.

Charlotte media doesn't deserve cam or

the panthers honestly. When you hire and then keep hacks like Joe Person your sports section is crap. I'm honestly surprised Jerry hasn't had a phone call down to the observer to politely ask them to can his ass in favor of an actual journalist.

I'm getting sick of these people who won't get off of cam's case.

He celebrated a touchdown in the endzone , just leave him the fug alone. If you criticize cam for this poo you better be objective and criticize every single other player in the nfl who celebrates a touchdown

This has happened pretty much after every win since the Seattle game. Panthers and cam win so let's talk about literally anything else about the game to deflect. Oh cam tore down a sign? Oh the panthers almost lost after being up huge the whole game despite never trailing once? Oh his dancing is excessive?

All ll of these non stories are built to take away and distract from the success we are having.

No way in hell the kid said that. I'll bet my paycheck on it

Exactly.  I have twin nine year olds and they are not  naive to the degree that they have never seen a football highlight.  Mine are boys and they are assholes for the most part.  Most of the bad language and actions they perform come from a source other than me.  And I restrict TV and Internet so it's not like they have free reign. Fact is in 2015 kids are exposed to a lot of stuff and a man dancing in a football uniform is going to illicit said response.

The lady is lying to make a point. I get it but she is an idiot.

I was at the game sunday when a beer vendor said to me "hey, carolina, want a beer?".  Then a 70+year old woman walking behind me says "hey, carolina, why don't you go to hell?"

Of course, i ignored them as i do most people who are the product of decades of inbreeding, but i think later i saw a 2 month old child in a cam jersey who said to me "My, what would that ladies great grand children think about her behavior."  The 2 month old then put his pacifier back in his mouth and grabbed his baby crotch and drank tequila and belched profanities until it was time for his nap.

Maybe i should relay my experience to the observer as well.  Clearly this older ladies behavior negatively impacted all children at the game and she should have been beaten to death my people mindlessly saying to "titan up".

(Note that the first paragraph of this is absolutely true and the quotes are verbatim)

Keep pounding.

    • Congratulations do they know who the father is?
    • In my opinion Fitterer was probably right about not paying McCaffrey. Now not wanting to "pay RBs" in my opinion isn't something you want to set in stone, to me it all comes down to the individual.
    • Maybe I'm just not understanding, but everywhere that I have read says that signing bonuses go against the cap prorated by as much as five years. The following example uses Andrew Luck's rookie contract as an example. "Take Andrew Luck, the first overall pick in the 2012 NFL draft. Luck signed a four-year contract with the Colts worth $22.1 million and included a $14.5 million signing bonus. Rather than a $14.5 million cap hit in 2012, the Colts spread out his signing bonus over the life of his contract. The hit against the cap would be $3.625 million per year over four years instead of a direct cap hit of $14.5 million directly in 2012. This gave the Colts more leverage and cap flexibility in signing other players." https://www.the33rdteam.com/nfl-signing-bonuses-explained/ I don't know why some of you think that signing bonuses aren't counted against the cap over the length of the contract, but whatever.   "The bonus with a signing is usually the most garish aspect of a rookie contract. Bonus is the immediate cash players receive when they ink a deal. It factors into the cap, but only for the whole contract duration, in terms of salary cap calculations. In the case of Bryce Young’s $24.6 million signing bonus, that’s prorated to approximately $6.15 million per season over a four-year deal. This format allows teams to handle the cap and provides rookies with some short-term fiscal stability, which is important given the high injury risk in this league." https://collegefootballnetwork.com/how-rookie-contracts-work-in-the-nfl/ I understand how signing bonuses can be a useful tool in order to manage the cap, and as one of the article suggests, signing bonuses may become important if you have a tight cap, but the bill is always going to come due. I'm not necessarily referring to you Tuka, but it seems to me that others simply don't want to understand that fact which is why they're reacting to what I'm saying negatively. How odd. In any event, I have a better general understanding of why signing bonuses are used now, and it's generally to fit salaries under the cap. Surely players, whether they be rookies or not, love a signing bonus because they get a good portion of their money up front. This in turn gives them more security and probably amounts to tax benefits as well. I also understand why teams would not want to use signing bonuses, particularly for players or draftees who have a higher probability of being gone before a contract even ends.
