Wife and I had this discussion last night watching the Seattle show he did.

He has a way with words, but I think that almost anyone could do that show and it would be fun to watch.

Been to that Savannah Highway Waffle House  in Charleston so many times, a majority of the times I don't remember.

Sean Brock rocks...but that Waffle House pales in comparison to the Huddle House that used to be on King's St. downtown.  Now it's some hipster joint I think.

Never eaten at a WH, or IHoP, and only the Shoneys breakfast bar when traveling. Breakfast is so easy, I've never been able to pay somebody else to make it for me. Plus not a big waffle or pancake guy, syrup gives me the sh!ts.

Forget Bourdain. Sean Brock is the man. His stint on Mind of a Chef was great! Best Southern chef working today.

 

Bourdain, I'd like him but he's just every part of a yankee New Yorker that I don't like.

Bourdain was filming in Jamaica while I was down there on my honeymoon in 2014.

 

He was staying at the same little hotel we were at. One morning he was lounging all by himself at the private beach. I wanted to go over and say what's up, but I didn't want to bother him and I figured I'd run into him at the bar later. That afternoon, him and his crew loaded out for another town on the island.
