On why Panthers QB Cam Newton is able to ‘get under people’s skin’:

On Newton hitting ‘The Dab’ last week:

“[Laughter] He said he was gonna Dab on ‘em , and he Dabbed on ‘em. It was one of those things where, hey, shoot, like I said, 6-5, 260, man, keep him out of the end zone if you don’t want him to Dab on you. So that’s pretty much what he did and I’m pretty sure he’s going to do it again whenever he touches that end zone. It’s your job to stop him. We’ve got his back and we’re behind him. Shoot, if I get mine, I’m going to Dab on ‘em too.”

You mean Dab right? I think you missed the humor and went straight to the violence. While I condone an ass whooping after a bit of light reading on the extremeskins board, I think this was to lighten the tension a bit.

I hope to see it after every TD, fumble recovery, interception, sack, etc.  Would be beyond awesome if this became a Panthers thing.

Norman did an interview with Dan Le Batard a couple of weeks ago and after a couple of minutes, Le Batard said Norman was his new favorite person. He kept saying "Where has the NFL been hiding you?" He asked him to stay on for another segment. I'll see if I can find a clip.
