What this guy has done is unreal.  They were talking about how we lost all our WR's and most of the OL, and now look at us a year and a half later.

 

the best was seeing Moses getting WORKED out there.  Many out there wanted us to get him over KB and every other talking head said how Dumb Gettleman was for taking Ealy over him.

Unlike Hurney who couldn't hit on much outside the 1st I don't question Gettleman...he's easily a top 3 GM and hasn't even had much time for his own home grown talent to come through just yet.

I just think the future is going to be on fire for us as long as we keep him and he keeps hitting it out the mofugin park with his pickups...and not just the ones he drafts...his FA pickups do work too especially the UDFAs...beastly GM is beastly

The way the salary cap is set up makes it impossible to lock up every player that up develops into a stud for you. The mentality in Carolina is next man up. You have to pick the guys you know are most important to keep as your core, buy low on actually talented free agents to get value, and continue to draft good players.

      It's crazy with how much winning was going on when we had a little cool off period that we're still just a couple games out of 6th. Moussa is getting better every week and Coby is getting comfortable. Would be nice to get to 6 but I think this team is a lot more stacked than the last couple play ins. I can't remember the exact rules but if you're 7th seed and win the first game I think you automatically move on and don't have to play the second game?

      I think it was a thing for sure. Panthers weren’t too many people’s first choice. Or 5th choice.  2022 and 2023… coaches fired mid season. Consecutive years. You want any of that?  He has definitely overseen a rehab of how the Panthers are perceived. Because we are a place that is seen as up and coming. And just the little thing of he accommodated Theilen so graciously, that gets noticed. It all adds up. Dan is doing a lot of things right, probably most things.  Needs a good draft.

      K, I think that is dumb, but you do you. I didn't find anything online that made him out to be a dislikable person. I am certain the Panthers would have cared so much if they lost your fandom if they hired Sean Payton. But bet you would have come crawling back if Sean lead us to a Super Bowl victory or Golden leads UNC to a champion ship. It is easy to say you are gonna leave a team if the hire someone you dislike when the chips are down. But people like you tend to come crawling back once the team finds success.
