"In 2010, Finnegan became a member of School of the Legends (SOTL), an online communityand partner of the NFLPA.[3] SOTL's headquarters are located in Nashville, TN. He also became Titans' Community Man of the Year due to his fundraising efforts and the establishment of ARK 31, a non-profit charity for children with disabilities and special needs.[4][5]"

That's from his Wikipedia page, what an asshole. If you're strictly hating on him because of his on field crap than I can't imagine how much some of you would hate Cam or Josh if they played for other teams. Cortland gets under people's skin just like Josh, hopefully he has something left in the tank!

Is he really the best CB available?

"Best" is subjective. Does he have the ability to do what we need him to do to fit into our defense? Yes. Tough, physical player. Will play the run and can stay with slot receivers. We won't have to scheme around him being on the field as we did with having Colin Jones in the nickel. Not sure if he's the best, but he's the "best fit".

This. It's enough for me. He antagonizes other teams but is a good guy. Sounds like plenty of players we have and have had. I'm good with it.

Gettleman has proven very good at finding discarded talent.  Rivera and Co have done a great job of taking lost and broken toys and turning them into a fierce defense.

Got to trust the G, and I'm sure he knows his leash is very short.  If he costs us games with stupid penalties, he's done.

Agreed. First thing I did was go to Youtube and Google. Found pretty much photos of his incident with Andre Johnson and him holding a bunch of plaques for community service and helping the less fortunate. Went to YouTube and found an e:60 on his story as well. Dude is feisty and physical. He's Josh Norman/Steve Smith (in a sense) without the success. Dude's 31, can't wait to see him in our D. Not having to scheme around having Colin Jones on the field will do wonders for an already wonderful defense.

    • After last season, it was the same question. And the answer most people came to was "If he doesn't make the playoffs, he's gone." He made the playoffs. No matter how it was done, we made it to the playoffs. He's safe. He's going to have a chance to keep working this out, even if next season isn't a playoff one.  I think we'll do better next year than we did this season. There's something being built here.
    • The NBA is a very fickle league. Kon is one of the hottest rookies in years and beyond just his play on the court he is a very steady competitor and that translates to the rest of the team. That has been a glaring absence with the culture of this franchise through the bulk of the LaMelo Ball years that's just being completely blunt and realistic. The enigma of LaMelo Ball is he is entering year 6 and still either red hot or ice cold. We need him to find that sweet spot. Logic dictates the Hornets will want to see this core again next year. But the clock is beyond ticking at this point. It's put up or shut up. Especially considering what the Thunder managed to do recently. I'm hopeful they can keep these wins rolling in and get some much needed playoff experience under their belts which will help substantially.
    • I think as long as the Panthers are competitive with Canales they should keep him. Pepper needs to repair his/the teams image as a place prized free agents aren't hesitant to consider. Just dont do any crazy poo for a few years.
