No he didn't. Watch the replay. He barely brushed his facemask and it didn't move his helmet at all. Rodgers helmet moved from the impact. His chin strap popped off because he wears that retarded single strap that serves no purpose.

Saw it three or four times already.  You could see the helmet turn at the same instant his finger brushed the face mask.  I don't think it was intentional but it happened and should have been called.  If that happened to Cam and it wasn't called this place would be in an uproar.

That play doesn't change the fact that green Bay has major issues at receiver and on their offensive line..  It was cool to see, but I hope they don't let it mask their other issues.

Precisely. The Packers are not good enough to have any chance of winning it all.

you cannot deliver a blow to the head  of a QB while passing or shortly there after. There is no penalty for what just happened.

Unless you are talking about the expelled rule about grabbing the face mask vs personal foul tackle with face mask- they were two different things but the variation does not  exist any more.

At least I think that is how it went bout 10 years ago

Once Rogers left the pocket & crossed the line of scrimmage, he was no longer considered a QB & all the rules about touching a QB go out the window. It's the same when Cam does it. The only exception would be if the QB has the ball & gives himself up by sliding feet first.

Rogers' helmet was twisted with the chinstrap up from his fall on the ground, not by any bogus face mask grab.

Remember when all the talk on here was about how the Packers could much more easily recover from the loss of Jordy Nelson then we could from the loss of Kelvin Benjamin?

Yep..  And now they have Adams that can't catch a cold and receivers getting absolutely no separation. Add to that the offensive line that has been decimated with injuries and that doesn't equal a recipe for success.  But it's hard to count them out completely with Rodgers at qb

Agree.

It's gonna be tough if that banged up offensive line doesn't get healthy, though.

The facemask call was BS, but focus on the hail mary. How do the Lions have no-one out front to knock down the pass? There were a crap-ton of Lions in the area, but they were all well-behind the play. That should never happen, we sure as heck wouldn't allow a pass like that to be completed. Lions deserved to lose.

Seriously... Rodgers is the best QB in the league but you cannot credit him with that TD. Any QB in the league not named Matt Ryan can chuck the ball into the endzone and send a prayer up that it gets caught.

Yup, Matt Ryan wouldn't have thrown that ball past the 20.

Detroit should be BETTER than that, to allow that completion to take place without being in the proper position. Which is why I say coaching and preparation outweighs being "better" in fans eyes
