Sit him for a series until he ACTS LIKE he wants to be on the field. If he goes back out there again acting like he doesn't want to be there, then bench him. This team isn't about Cam Newton. It's about trying to win the game. Cam sucking the life out of the stadium was the undoing of the offense today.

bad games happen to every QB.  You don't bench a guy that won you 14 games. Lol more like bench Remmers.  Imagine the team moral benching  Cam like you say.  Lol we lost Ted Ginn too and no stewart.  Missed catches.  Can't blame it on Cam.

It's not ONE freaking loss. It's also a loss of a chance at history. Clearly Cam Newton didn't care about 15-0 any more than he cared about the MVP, so why should anyone around here have EVER cared if he doesn't?

I get you're upset that the team lost an opportunity to go undefeated. But to blame it on Cam not caring is probably about as inaccurate as it gets. The falcons played very inspired and it's still possible we see them again in the playoffs. They're not as bad as you all are letting on.

This team tends to loose focus when the refs are stacked against them. We have to understand that we MUST beat the refs each game too.

i saw some blatant no calls in Atlantas favor all game. Make plays and they can't do much  about it. The slant was obvious. Then they call three quick penalties when the game is over to save face and cover up what they did. DONT LOOK TO OFFICIALS FOR ANYTHING! They've proven to be your enemy

please please tell me your kidding....seriously you playing the 'refs out to get us' bs?....WE LOST THE GAME DUDE...some of you need to man up bigtime...Falcons beat us on line of scrimmage all day

as far as penalties, what were you saying when they had all those questionable holding calls against them when all they had to do was run out clock?....was that reverse conspiracy theory fix job?...

your post is total garbage

Exactly.

THEIR defensive line was collapsing the pocket all fugging day long.

OUR defensive line (excepting KK) was playing fugging patty-cake.

I'm blaming losing focus on them looking for calls they aren't getting. STFU and watch the games. Your breath is garbage

    • I need to actually do a full analysis but I think the issue was more that we'd rarely have top-to-bottom awesome drafts but we'd frequently have drafts where only 2-3 players panned out, but the 1st is a Pro Bowler and the other two solid starters or backups. We rarely had drafts where only 1 player was good, and we never had absolute useless drafts. At the very least we always had one really, really good guy. The worst was probably 2005 where we got Thomas Davis (Hall of Honor-quality player) and Geoff Hangartener. Evan Mathis was good, but only after he left.
    • Hurney wasn’t good with contracts but I think he was probably above average at drafting.  Not saying he was great.  Just that most draft classes are worthless.
    • Ehh, teams earlier this season double and tripled teamed him with decent success. The reason he beasted out so much with Miami was for some reason they did not much at all. Bad call on their part. But that is his purpose. If he is eating up people that is huge, and theoretically should give others the ability to make a play. But his surrounding cast to do that isn’t great. Brown is something OCs have to put a lot of time to plan for.
