Official Wild Card Weekend Predictions Thread....

Minnesota better hope AP has a monster day. Only chance they have. So probably Seattle

Steelers keep bengals playoff struggles alive.

Chiefs over Texas who the hell is under center for Houston anyway

Redskins

I have no faith in a Capers led defense against Redskins  but I also expect Cousin to come back to reality very soon.  I think GB is on a downward spiral.

Weather is our friend in Minn.

Also this:

Seattle has lost all three of its last cold weather games- when the temperature has been below 32 degrees- and have not played a cold weather game this season.  That, along with a playoff atmosphere, can make for a more significant home field advantage.  Seattle is 2-9 in road playoff games, the last win coming against the Redskins in 2012, before losing at Atlanta the following week.

Your and my predictions are one game different.  I see a weekend where a team will be pissed off that everyone is writing them off.  A team that is pissed that they got blown out last time and wants revenge.  A weekend that weather is in favor for a ground and pound with good defense.  Vikings will be motivated.  AP will run hard.  It will be a physically brutal game and even if Seahawks come out on top, it will be a draining game for them.  I do not see a walk in the park for them.  I give the advantage to the Vikings.  Motivation and emotion on their side at home.

Lets hear them...

I say....

Chiefs over Texans

Bengals over Steelers

Vikes over Seahawks.

Packers over Redskins

Packers at BoA stadium next Sunday once again. Not a great matchup considering our lack of pass rush and loss of corners.

Texans over Chiefs

Steelers over Bengals

Vikes over Seahwaks

Redskins over Packers

    • Watching games this year again and Bryce missed a wide open XL many times and some of them were in the endzone. I get the kid has mental lapses and hasn't broke out yet, but this is year three on a rookie deal! Cutting bait now is too early. If he hasn't gained anymore trust from his QB, posted any highlights, little production, or outright gets beat out then we can talk movement.
    • Samesies   I truly may just cash completely out of Panther football if we give him a long term deal that isnt necessary.  I have watched NFL for 50 years now and I can without a shadow of a doubt say you cannot win consistently with BY.  Way too many limitations to deal with.   I may come back around in 3 years when the inevitable happens and all parties are either cut and/or fired.  Giving him a deal before this season so you hopefully can get him cheaper in case he "blows up" or if you truly believe that he will has to be the most moronic decision a gm can make when the evidence is laid before you with different players
    • This is the one! I was at that game and all KB had to do was lay down on the corner after the pick or make an obvious tag while he was down. He had already ran a lazy route. Then if Cam would've just walked to the sideline like most elite QBs instead of trying to make the tackle.  A lot of people bring up the TJ Watt hit, but he just reaggravated a bunch of scar tissue from that play. And every Cam hater said that the running did him in and it was a dive tackle attempt on an interception that initially began the shoulder deterioration. He still went to New England later and would've got them in the playoffs had their A team not sat out the covid year. We quit on him too early. But hey how good was Teddy? Am I right?
