Voth vs Fowler

This is not going to be a cake walk with whoever we play.  We have an advantage at being at home and we are the best team in the league.

We have to prepare for all comers and be ready.   If it is Seattle or Minnesota they are going to come at us and try and show they are tougher, badder and meaner.  They are going to try and intimidate us.  It doesn't work but we have to be prepared for it.  We are going to have to have a great game plan for whoever we play.

BOA needs to bring the noise and show them how loud Blue Heaven can be.

When we hoist the Lombardi trophy,  it's not like people are going to say that we don't deserve it,  no matter who we've played.  That being said,  I would prefer the path of least resistance.

Rings are the only thing that matters in February.

Agreed....

It really is a double edge sword.   The old saying "To be the Best you gotta Beat the Best" is a mentality players and coaches use all the time.   So bring on all comers.

Then again, Seeing a hot team get knocked out would not hurt my feelings.

And Then...... who knows the team you wanted to beat that hot team comes out and whoops your ass and that brings on the other old saying "Be careful of what you wish for"

In this case... Minnesota is not an easy opponent.

What is this poo man. You've literally been proven wrong about every damn thing panther related this year and you're still being a bitch.

So why would I stop now? It's called being superstitious with a hint of actually thinking Seattle is a great team, sue me.

I enjoy talking actual football and watch more than just the Panthers play each week. I think Seattle has improved big time since we last played them. I think the loss of Jimmy Graham actually benefitted that offense as a whole. DeShawn Shead has been solid since the release of the weak link in that secondary Cary Williams. The Seahawks were without Wagner when we beat them in Seattle, Wagner is kind of a big part of that D. Lastly you have Lockett, he is dangerous as hell in the return game (see what he did last week) which is a weak area for us and he provides more speed on the outside another thing we struggle with. Combine Lockett's speed with Baldwin in the slot and it's a scary combination.

If you want to talk actual football and why you think Carolina can beat Seattle by all means I'm all ears, but this appears to be another rah rah Carolina post so spare me.

Dude you act like you are some guru. You're not.  You have literally doubted this team from day 1 signings in the offseason to the last game of the year and you shitpost in game day threads.

seattle is a great team but there time is over. We all know about them since we have played them what 5 times, about to be 6 times, in the past 4 years? There's nothing really left to talk about but rah rah that hasn't already been talked about football wise even with their new additions.

What makes you think their time is over? The Bills went to 4 consecutive SB's so just because they've gone to two doesn't mean their time is up.

Again you're just talking out of your ass.  Do you think McClain can cover Lockett? Do you think Remmers will be able to hold up against Irvin and blitzes coming from that side? Not some f'n guru just talking normal basic football. I know you enjoy coming here to argue with people instead of actually talking football but try to incorporate a little football talk once in awhile.

Gameday threads are my rant threads. I've seen you post some dumb poo in there too, I've even seen you bash Newton a few times as well. So if you want to talk football let's talk football if you want to pick a fight go argue with someone else.

argue with a panther fan who says Seahawks are going to the superbowl over us and then mentions some team in the early 90s went 4 times as justification? Lol ok dude.

And I've talked about this. Peanut was done weeks ago but knew assignments. I'd rather have the speed with McClain and trust his football smarts that the emperor stated when he was with them. Also gotta trust in o line chemistry at this point. Can't stick a rookie on the right. All of these things have been said by me and other posters already.

What else is there to say? At this point we know what we got and we know what they got.  Their time is up because we got over that hurdle with them this year and intangibles and team chemistry are a real thing. What else am I suppose to believe? I'm a fan of the Panthers, we just had our greatest regular season ever. I'm not slobbing over the Seahawks nuts because we can beat them, we have already, and we will. Pretty easy stuff. I'm not the one that doubted everything along the way.

That's all I wanted to hear. I obviously hope you're right and I think something special is happening this year or I wouldn't have spent a fortune traveling to see this team play a few times.

I agree with the speed of McClain over the assignment knowledge that came with Tillman, especially with Seattle. I also agree you have to stick with Remmers at this point and can't mess up chemistry.

But just because your approach towards this team is different than mine, don't make me or anyone who'd rather not play Seattle less of a fan. I think Seattle is a good team, do I think we can beat them? Yes I do. However, I won't be upset if I'm celebrating a Vikings win behind the Seahawks bench this wknd!
