Yea Wayne was another, Jennings was the only one I could remember. I'm sure there is at least one more.

Wayne, Jennings, Moss, Nicks, Denarius Moore...

Probably others but those are the names I remember.

Gettleman made it a point to say how he got killed for the Oher signing and KK getting drafted and did a look at us now

I can't wait to see how his latest "dumb move" will work out! Who in their right mind drafts a linebacker/safety hybrid when you have the best LB corps in the league????

G-money, that's who.

Michael Oher credits teammates, fans and even local media for welcoming him and giving him a chance when he signed.

Conformation that Michael Oher does not read the Huddle (or at least didn't when he first signed).

I remember people being completely reasonable with Oher. A lot of "well, he's better than Bell," "Hope being with Matsko and getting over his injury will make him better," etc. Would've been unreasonable to think he'd be a Pro Bowler this year back when we signed him. Most people were happy with the signing.

I'd say that the dissenters were more upset at the fact that Gettleman appeared to be done after signing Oher more than the signing itself (personally, I was in the 'cautious optimism' camp). After the last couple of years, even "at least he'll probbaly better than Bell" may have seemed like nowhere near enough to keep Cam alive.

As I recall, it got worse for a bit after the draft when we didn't draft a tackle in the first or second.

Daryl Williams eased it for some.
