These peterson carries are going NO WHERE, just like last game... not good.

I think they have to stick with it though. SEA is keying on AP. They've kind of got the plan to stop AP and make Teddy and the rest of the crew beat them. Vikings need to have a Panthers mentality in this game and just keep running whether you gain 0 yards or 4. It'll average out. Minimize RW's time on the field. Try to win a 13-10 game.

Teddy isn't beating anybody with his arm, let alone in this weather.

He's doing okay with the short passes.   Since the Hawks are selling out to stop the run,  he should continue to exploit their defense with those short dink and dunk throws.

Its the first series. I don't think you'll find Minnesota abandoning the run game quite yet.

Because that would be dumb.

Agreed. They need to just grind on SEA. Even if they have a few 0 yard plays or negative. Just keep running between the tackles. AP will find a crease.

I wouldn't give up on peterson, it's just one drive.  The guy did lead the NFL in carries, so obviously he gets better as the game goes on, and I expect that today.  The thing is, throwing lanes are open for Bridgewater, he will have his opportunity to prove that he is more than a game manager today.

    • Names I'd keep an eye on... Coby White,  Jalen Suggs, Amen Thompson  and Stephen Castle...  3 teams except Orlando has checked on Melo before and rumblings of sours getting rid of fox too. I'd think they think Melo and Wemby would make them nuclear out west.
    • Well he somehow had 12 preseason carries for not playing. He also has 20 carries in the regular season, not three. He has actually played in about 7% of the offensive snaps for this regular season(33% of the special teams snaps). This isn't stuff you have to make up, these are very easily referenced statistics, man.
    • It's not common for a RB to recover from two ACL tears in the same knee. It's fairly rare. You are correct that it isn't the career ender that it used to be but there is also the fact that we appear to have largely moved on with the additions of Dowdle and Etienne.  Dobbins is a very good example. He has basically missed 54% of his career regular season games since he came into the league in 2020. It will end up being 57% at the conclusion of this season. It's a big contributing factor to why he is on this third NFL team in 6 years. It's certainly possible that may be 4 by the beginning of next season. I would say there is very little chance that Brooks ever contributes in any meaningful way in Carolina. Possibly with another team but I am extremely skeptical of his future here because of those injuries and because of the roster.
