lol when I read TD "was carted off" I got scared for a sec.

Anyone else kind of "sad" Allen is playing after we were so good up front without him vs Arz?

We actually got a ton of pressure against Seattle. I believe we got 5 sacks, while it wasn't all from the Dline, the Dline would've had more sacks that game if it was for Russell Wilson scrambling and pulling plays out his ass.

I'm guessing this has a lot to do with the stores at the stadium being stocked with supplies from both teams. Vendor could have ordered thousand of Kuechly jerseys to have for sale at Levi stadium and surrounding areas.

It certainly isn't by me because I can't find a Luke jersey anywhere

Ricky Proehl has done some great work with our wideouts and the above photos illustrate their progression.

I remember looking at photos in training camp of Philly and Funchess and neither of them were looking the ball in. The two photos above show great technique and focus and I'm sure that is something Ricky had helped them develop.

Wish they had one of ginn focusing.... Dude got all world talent with average hands. The progress is clear as day too.

I don't think Jared Allen is as bad as you people seem to think he is.

Sure he isn't the same Jared Allen as 3 years ago, but he still gets consistent pressure and is great against the run.

Do you guys not remember the beginning of the game last week where Johnson was getting solid runs? They eventually had to abandon it because we went up so much, and even then he lead the team in catches. Anderson and Hillman are no slouches, so I think it'd be a great thing to have Allen out there for the Ship.

    • Jake in his prime was a gutsy QB. But just like with even someone like Cam. Father time is undefeated. It's very unfortunate we have a guy who is only 24 years old that has an equivalent arm to that. Absolutely blows my mind that our brain trust lacked the basic common sense to value arm talent when making a massive trade with ramifications for years to come. Unforgivable incompetence.
    • Jake, to me, will always hold a special place in my heart.  I really feel like for his era, he deserved way more love than he got, and should’ve had more than his one Pro Bowl.  He was a gamer with an underrated rocket arm. but let me tell you, after his Tommy John surgery, when he came back, I can’t remember who it was against, but it think it was a division game, he threw a ball that was supposed to be a throw away, as I think he was under pressure, and that poo floated forever and died right at the boundary where a defender ran over and picked it off.  One of the worst throws I ever saw.  His arm just wasn’t the same after the injury and surgery.  All that to say, that’s what almost every Bryce throw to the sidelines looks like to me.
    • And again, when watching him in college he had one distinct trait that I feel makes a franchise QB - on those plays when everything breaks down around him, he creates one on his own.  He doesn’t rely on or need everyone else.  That play last night on the final drive where he was getting sacked and threw it to Diggs before his knee hit the ground?  He does similar things all the time.  Mahomes, Allen, Lamar, etc., they all do it.  It’s what made Cam so special. but we picked a guy that’s the opposite of that.  He desperately needs someone else to make a play for him because he can’t.  Even that play yesterday on 4th down to Horn.  That wasn’t a great pass.  The defender was late and came down to make a play in the ball and Bryce threw it high and outside where Horn had to leave his feet and really use strong hands to catch it.  We relied on a 5’9” rookie playing in his first pro game to make THAT catch at THAT time bc of the early turnovers and a not great throw.  Crazy.
