People have been biting there tongues for 5 months waiting to unleash all this Cam slander. Cam is getting more media coverage than the actual SB winners LOL

 

I've already heard Wade Phillips, Finebaun, a couple of NFL players, Doug Gotlieb  just frothing at the mouth waiting to talk crap about Cam.

 

I sincerely hope Cam and the team is even more demonstrative next season, fug it embrace it. Just like the 80s Miami Hurricanes

They should be.  Who gives a damn about any of those idiots feelings.  Shame them, Embarrass them, and most importantly DAB all over these haters Cam.  The only meaningful revenge is for you to lift that Lombardi trophy high over your head while you dance all over the podium.

Man, I love being a Panthers fan =)

I love how everyone was light "and the Broncos won..."  Then it's all Cam all the time!  People hate that we do things differently, and our leader of the charge is Cam Newton.  Now we can start getting into all those "they hate us because they can't be us" kind of things.

I think there is a lot of truth to that.  I think, if nothing else, Cam's press conference sent a message to a lot of sports figures.  You don't owe the media a thing.  Sure networks pay for a lot of coverage, but if you don't want to, you don't have to talk to them.  It's actually kind of nice to rip the veneer of BS off the whole athletes have to be something they aren't.  Wouldn't it be fun for more athletes to be more honest with themselves and us?  We all don't have to exist like the New England Patriots, full of stoic BS.

Yep, us Panthers and Cam are going to keep it real in a world full of two faced liars =)  Could be worse!

      Most teams OLs are dealing with injuries at the end of the season. So by that token all QB play should be horrific across the board, but it's not.  Using the OL as an excuse anytime a QB plays bad is just lazy.  This is the same OL when Bryce had his good games not so long ago.  So do they suck just when Bryce does bad? Obviously they played well enough when y'all were doing your victory laps and saying 'you told us Bryce was the man' in the victories. It goes back to my stance with Bryce all along...he's a low end starting QB.  He'd be a great backup. Bryce is going to have a few really nice games a season at this point in his career, with a few WTF games mixed in, but very middling overall.

      Good Lord! I bet the O-line play wasn't the worst since 1980.  And @thebdawg, injuries absolutely can make for a bad showing at the end of the day. That's not an excuse, it's just a fact.

      Defense stepped up after that and held them to a FG. Offense proceeded to turn it over on downs right after.  Was it an incredibly dumb penalty, of course it was. The defense played their asses off though and got zero help from the offense. If you force them to punt at that point instead of the penalty do you really think the offense does anything differently?
