State of the Huddle Address - 2016

Thank you, @Jeremy Igo , for your hard work & for that of your mods & admins. I expected more of a 2010-type meltdown after the super bowl but it thankfully didn't happen. If we make it through this off season it will be historical! I appreciate all Huddlers, even the drunk ones. Which, I have come to realize, is most of you on game day. :) Without this place my days would be dull, my nights darker, blah, blah, blah. XD

PS- we need emojis.

Personally, I would love to see an epic thread forum where new members are sent for their required reading. Before being able to click that little submit button for the very first time and experiencing the euphoria that is joining the huddle tailgate family, a simple 200 part questionaire on huddle history must be successfully completed. There will also be an essay portion of why TD is a bad ass.

One does not simply post on the huddle without understanding the nuances of the helmet, x-clown, Google that poo, a PhillyB lecture of historical perspective and it's relation to the Panther universe, forehead kisses, fat Alice, the Hayden obsession, Superb owl, Jase as a huddle kitten, Roaring Riot, and how not to be a bandwagon bitch like PanthersUnited. There have been many a troll in the huddle, but that fugger made shi.t posting legendary.

There are so many more that can and should be added, and this is merely a beginning. I think I've had to much too drink and need to go pass out now.

Special skills? Special skills? Let's see. I can tipe, and has good grammer. My ability to say "Yes Dear" is legendary. I've seen every episode of the Blacklist. And I don't own a Smart Phone. If any of these skills are of interest to you, I would be more than happy to assist you in anyway I can.

PS. My love for the Huddlez in unparalleled. So I have that going for me as well.

    • T-Mac is a nickname, Tet is a shortening of Tetairoa. Like you said below... your name is Jonathan, I could see "Jonny" being considered a nickname, but Jon isn't a nickname, it's a shortening of Johnathan, see the difference? And if your mom named you Jonathan for it's biblical significance/meaning, because she was very religious, I think it would be different. T-Mac is Polynesian, so much in their culture has deeper meaning for them, particularly names.  So for his mom to feel this way, I highly doubt it's just because she likes the name Tetairoa and not Tet, it's much more likely than not to be because the name itself has a deeper meaning in their culture.   Particularly as T-Mac himself has often talked about how much his Polynesian heritage means to himself and his family. And no, I'm not saying all this because of how much he's my guy, if he was just "normal american" and his name was Jonathan and he didn't like fans calling him Jon, I'd probably just say tough poo.  It's that he's Polynesian and I know things like names have a much deeper meaning in their culture than they do in ours for the most part. For whatever it's worth, a quick google search.......
