How Would You Feel if The Panthers Drafted Derrick Henry in the 1st?

Oregon running backs have all been busts in the NFL too, except for the one that happens to be on our team. 

Not saying id love the pick, but being upset with a guy who's as physically gifted as Cam Newton getting to run behind an already physically imposing OLine just because his school hasnt produced gems seems pretty stupid. System is everything for a running back, look at how bad Marshawn Lynch looked in Buffalo before playing in Seattle where the offense fit his skillset

Kind of bored but then I would start looking to the bright side and hope he is a beast.

I see little chance of that happening though. He is no Gurley. (I don't think)

People were pissed when we drafted Stewart too...come to think of it...most people seemed to be pissed at all of our first round picks so...theres that.

Stewert was someone most of us weren't familiar with but his imposing size won over a lot of people quickly...probably would be the case if we drafted Henry.....doubt we do it though....if he somehow fell to the 2nd for us I think it'd be way more likely but DE or Corner in the 1st is what my gut tells me.

The Eddie I've heard, for a Henry comparison, is George. 

For the most part it seems RB's have fallen out of favor as higher picks. Gurley was a winner for sure, but Melvin Gordon went in the 1st as well, and his 3.5 yds/carry and less than 650 yds. didn't exactly validate his 1st round status.

It will be funny considering people on the huddle has spent the entire season hyping up CAP and Wegher.

that had more to do with how Gurley would recover from ACL surgery. Everyone knew that if he was 100% healthy he would be a great talent.

No thank you, I'd rather they pick a DE or OT. I don't see Henry going in the 1st round.
