Lol if you don't think Luke isn't the true leader you didn't watch the VFX videos. Luke was passionate and encouraging everyone. Running up and down the sidelines being an actual leader. Cam did nothing but mope the entire time. I guess he was sad that after he fumbled there was no way he was getting that "super bowl mvp" he dreamed of.

you realize that video is edited right? they cut out a ton of footage they have. who knows if it was edited to make Cam look like he spent the whole game moping

Why can't we just love all of the Panthers players? Except for the ones that just actually suck

Can't we all agree they are pretty?

Luke and Cam are team leaders.  They are different.  It's great to have both of them who do different things to elevate the team.

Regardless, I think playing on a team with Cam and Luke is pretty appealing to anyone.

CCS is either doing a really bad troll job right now, or he's the one that wrote that article about Cam to the Jet's beat writer.

There is no medium.

I can spot a troll. He's been trolling hardcore for a few days and having the time of his life.

Free agency starts two weeks from today, the negotiating period starts two days prior...

Josh Norman may be franchise tagged within the next week...

The NFL Combine is going on right now...

...and people still wanna talk about Cam Newton's press conference?

Yeesh!

Yeah, he's been all over the place. At one point he talked about how he is supposedly schizophrenic. Who knows.

Hey guys I'm schizophrenic but gay people shouldn't be allowed to go to the bathroom because they're mentally ill lmao

Well, after your comment on Thal's thread I know your angle. You don't have to pretend you're talking about sports. In fact, the feeling is mutual. Go love your Luke and I'll love my Cam along with the other 80+ percent of the players on the panthers.

Which 20% don't you love?

Luke was also playing with a shoulder injury

No QB is asked to do more than Cam and Cam performed and was rewarded for it with recognition

He is 27 and a father not 13

I really don't give a damn what other teams players do.  The PR dept needs to help him and he needs to own it himself. His press conferences here are not much better.

Best believe his sponsors who pay him all that money noticed too

if the panthers want a face of the franchise, there is a little polish needed  that is not a crime and when a person takes ion the Supetman persona that is what is expected in both good and bad times

Why so dramatic? He was upset after a loss. Big whoop. He did not do anything profane, or against the law.

For the most part, the only people worried about press conferences are fans.

Not being dramatic honestly

his press conferences are bad to horrible by anyone's measure. Right  or wrong, this is the only time people see him not in a uniform

As I said in another post the Panthers have a PR dept. and they need to do their job or perhaps not

As for me, Richardson writes Newton's checks we will see if there is any change next year

if there is no improvement one can only glean that Jerry is happy

i think he is a good person, a fabulous athlete, who lacks maturity in presentation and that is not a crime.

He is special and could be more so if he chooses but that's up to him . Be smarter than those who wish to fed the narrative. We all have to do it at times  that's life.

His press conferences are horrible? Um, I must have been watching a different person from Newton in all those press conferences throughout the 2015 season, because that guy was handling things exceptionally.

One press conference merely distraught about the biggest loss of his career does not outweigh all the good ones where he clearly made progress.

Besides, if you apparently put so much stock into one press conference where he had the gall to be upset about losing the Super Bowl, what do you think of him smiling, and being nothing but kind/classy to Peyton Manning, a fellow competitor, immediately after the game?
