Off Topic - Any Panther fans that USED to be NCAA BB fans?

Just wondering if I am alone. I used to love watching college hoops.  I used to watch a couple games a week and was all over the tournament.

 

I could care less now. Players are in and out so fast, it just seems like a waste of time to learn about anyone until they hit the NBA. 

 

Anyone else?

Basketball became boring when I realized being a 5'11" white guy means you get dunked on by 6'7" opponents, a lot.

I stopped watching basketball entirely when Shinn moved the Hornets to New Orleans

I used to enjoy it a whole lot more back in the late 80's/early 90's when I was really into it because you actually got to follow a team and watch as the players grew. Now, it's mostly a one, maybe 2, and done and move on to the NBA. There's really no point to following a college bb team anymore.

Ya I LOVE playing pickup games with guys that are 6'7" and can drain every jumper. 

I love playing for cardio but it is impossible when you can't stay on the court.

For a variety of reasons, the quality of the NCAA game has really declined relative to the NBA over the last couple of decades.  I used to follow it very closely but now I pretty much just follow the NBA.  Once you watch a lot of NBA games trying to watch NCAA basketball is pretty painful.

Yeah I used to really like watching it. The feeling went away years ago after seeing kids leaving so early every year and the joke schedules etc. It just got to be a big joke to me.

I used to watch college FB a lot too but the schedules are so fuging stupid along with the rankings and no real playoffs. I just don't care about it anymore.

Yup.  I never really played basketball, but I grew up playing baseball.  fug that, I should have played soccer.  That definitely would have been my thing.  Feel like with my endurance and aggression I could have been a good RB

Nope. Still love college bb, and NBA ball. I just love basketball. I hoop atleast 2-3 times a week. 

6'1, and will yam on anyone and take on anyone.

Yeah, I've grown to just not care about basketball in general. I don't know what it is. Maybe it's guys leaving. Maybe it's just that it's an entirely offensive game now. I don't know.

Wish they could make two years mandatory. I think it would help the College and NBA games.
