Because he went there after in 2014 when everyone (read: everyone but the NFC South) thought that the 3-13 2013 season was an aberration. They had been a 'winning' (read: playoff-choking) franchise prior to that, going to the playoffs 4 of the previous 5 seasons.

As far as good depth, Gradkowski and Soliai are A+ signings

We need more good depth signings, and more will surely come. Then there's the great NFL draft. I could see us signing somebody in late August who's a veteran too that is maybe cut
