If he had a shred of desire and a shred of culpability, he'd play for vet minimum and immediately donate that total amount, or more, towards battered women's causes.

Then I might take anything he says about it as legit. Until then, I will always see him as incredibly dumb, and potentially guilty of everything he was accused of.

I have consistently said that the bruises/marks are consistent with someone trying to restrain someone, not beat the poo out of them as has been pushed by many. If Hardy wanted to beat the poo out of most people, he could do it. Moreover, but for that unfortunate incident, Hardy doesn't have a history of beating anyone, much less women. That's just the fact of the matter.

The truth of that night is nebulous enough to give him the side eye, but not enough to label him as a woman beater in my estimation. If you're going to label him, call him a dumbass. But that doesn't warrant a lifetime ban from the NFL.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Agree 100%.

I'd be more concerned about his sideline incident as a Cowboy more than all the other stuff.

Hardy was odd, but he basically was a good Panther.

I wouldn't even be that concerned about anything that went on with him as a Cowboy. The sideline incident is a part of the game of football and routine in my opinion. Brady did sh*t like that often and nobody batted an eye. The lateness would be slightly worrisome but that never happened as a Panther so I think that had more to do with them than Hardy. The comments about Brady's wife were nothing. It's telling how the Panthers handled the situation before the Rice video came out and the league was under attack by the media. I always got the sense that everyone in the organization was behind Hardy 100% and believed he was innocent and were letting it play out in court. And it's also extremely telling how teammates spoke about him, especially TD. When TD wants a guy back in the locker room enough to talk to JR and DG and Rivera about it, and speak about it publicly despite the negative press, I'd say he's not that much of a trouble in the locker room.

Dallas is a joke thanks to Jerry. that poo wouldn't fly with the Panther's. Plus he owes us $13 million for 2014.

Oh, I wouldn't be worried about it all. I was just saying that if I were to worry about something, it would be that. Hardy proved that he could fit in and meet the demands of the team here. I just literally shake my head at the entire situation. But I also shake my head at seeing a teary-eyed Jerry Richardson performing for the media. How in the hell does a hard-nosed businessman cry during a presser over that bullshit? Call me cynical and skeptical.

I believe Hardy will flame out anywhere else except here.  This group as it has been talked about by many outsiders that have come in to play under FA, this group of guys are more like brothers then co-workers.  Hardy in this atmosphere was subdued and 'calm' to a point.  The vets kept him in check and he played very well.

Leaving here to go to Dallas and being put in a completely new locker room Im sure was a surprise to him and not what he was use to and acted out as such.

Steve Smith Sr is also not an advocate of the best GM in football.  I'm not a DV advocate either 89.  I'm an advocate of the imperfect system (charges were dropped) and not hanging a man over one alleged crime by a reporting person that's nowhere to be found.

Greg Hardy will play football in this league this year.  There's no more perfect situation than right here, or even a close second.
